First Time Jack Rabbit by California Exotics REVIEW
I’ve tried several of the “First Time” line products by California Exotics now. This time I’ve received their First Time Jack Rabbit in pink. I wasn’t too impressed with the last couple by any standards, beginner or not. The rabbit faired a little better with me. But it really left me to contemplate the idea of a beginner toy and what it really means, despite the fact that I am in no way anywhere near the “first time” user. Being married almost 10 years and having two kids kinda precipitates that.
Basically, you have the typical rabbit shape vibe made of squishy, clear TPR. The shaft is 5” long and 1 ½” in diameter. It is semi-phallic in shape, sporting an exaggerated mushroom head. Well… not like the head of a real penis, but like an actual mushroom. Aside from the girthy head, there is no other texture or variation of the shaft size.
The functions are limited with this model. You get rotation of the head and of the metal beads, which can is reversible to either the clockwise or counter-clockwise. There is no way to vary the slope of the rotation swing, nor the speed or the rotation. And you can’t separate the functions of the rotation from the beads. It’s all or nothing.
That said, limited yes, but I was happy with it. The programmed speed suited me just fine. The metal balls stimulated me perfectly from the entrance to the g-spot. They were neither too abrasive feeling, nor unnoticeable… unlike other models I’ve tried. Oh, and most impressively, the rotation did not peter out when I neared orgasm and my muscles started to clench.
The clit stimulator, on the other hand, was a complete disappointment. Utter fail. It had one speed, and three patterns: steady, slow pulse and fast pulse. But honestly, it wouldn’t have mattered if it had 300 patterns. I could barely feel the vibration. Not just “oh, this isn’t quite as strong as I like”, but “is it on?”. Yeah, it wasn’t even strong enough to work me up to a tease, so I turned it around it backwards so I could have access with another toy. My ass could hardly pick up the vibrations. I think the entire toy would be better without the stimulator all together. My only positive remark on this would be that the shape and length would it suitable to hit most ladies’ clits, but I guess it doesn’t really matter if you can’t feel the vibrations anyway.
All together, I can’t rate this toy as highly as I would have like to because the clit stimulator is pretty much useless. Is it beginner friendly? I think so. Is it going to be up to the standards of what a beginner should expect from their toys? Ummm… not with the clit motor being so weak. It would have been better to have multiple speeds than multiple patterns. What I will say is this… I don’t mind using it for the shaft alone. That part works better than some of my more expensive models. But I also don’t mind substituting my fingers or my Eroscillator for the clit stimulation, which I won’t do without.
Beginner or not, I don’t mind that it only has the basic functions. But I’d rather find one with basic functions and a stronger clit motor.
Thank you California Exotics for sending me the First Time Jack Rabbit to review!

Temptress Gown by Fantasy Lingerie REVIEW
Love It Rating:
I don’t have a body like the model of this gown, so I didn’t expect it to look the same on me. However, I figured it was reasonable to expect that would at least resemble it.
I love lingerie. It makes me feel sexy, excited, and usually less frumpy than not wearing it. But this piece pretty much made me want to tear my hair out. The sheer body was okay. Usually it’s not my thing, but I liked the look of the top so I went with it. And while the material does have a bit of a stretch to it, there is no way you can get busy with having to first bunch the entire gown up to your belly to have access. The bottom is definitely not as flowy as the picture would have me believe, and fit quite snuggly on my torso and upper hips. For sheerness and fit, it hides nothing! Second, WTF is up with top!?
The top looks so pretty on the model. Granted, my breasts are real and don’t float up over the top of my gown without something to push them up (which this definitely does not have), so I didn’t expect that kind of support. Actually, I didn’t expect any support, and that’s exactly what I got. But, I didn’t expect the weird lopsidedness it created.
Right off the bat I could tell that something wasn’t right about the fit. If I pulled the front down a bit the middle part would pucker and my whole bosom would spill out within seconds of me moving. If I pulled it up, the V at the bottom would disappear and the sides would pucker. And, within a minute of me moving, my entire bosom would spill out!
Yeah, pretty much no matter how I tried to adjust this top and the ties in the back, it did not stay in place. The constant readjusting left me frustrated and feeling less than sexy. The whole thing was an utter fail, but just in case you want to know more, read on for details:
My Fantasy gown arrived in a plastic bag, supported with a plain hanger. It came with the gown itself and a pair of panties. The panties are standard, cheap, lingerie-style g-string. There is no information on the tag to suggest what the material is, but it feels like faux satin. They feature a triangle of fabric that is seen in the front, and two elastic bands. One band goes around the waist, and the other goes from the center back to the bottom of the triangle. The stitches are secured nicely as far as craftsmanship goes.
Again, the gown had no information on the tag regarding materials. The bottom is a mesh material (maybe nylon?) that is surprisingly comfortable and flexible; able to be stretched to 1x its non-stretched state without the mesh looking distorted. It is very soft and features a rolled hem on the bottom.
The top is a double layer of soft lace with a black on black rose pattern. On both edges of the top and in the middle are 4” pieces of elastic that cause a small amount of rousing and helped to sweetheart frame my breasts a bit more than if it was left as just a tube-style top.
What draws the whole gown together is a single tie in the back that crosses just under the back of the neck and then crosses once more where it ties together. I think what makes this fit so poorly is that the ties tend to slide around and work the crosses loose. By this I mean that even though you might have it adjusted perfectly so it fits right and seems to hold my breasts in place, it just doesn’t stay in that position. I think that if there were more loops that the tie went through it would help eliminate movement. Or if there were two ties instead of one it would be more stationary. Since I don’t find this wearable as it is, I will probably try to remodel it a bit and see if adding a second tie helps at all.
(Please note that these pics are taken while I was standing very still. With any movement I would have had a wardrobe disaster!)
The sizing was fairly accurate on this piece. I went with my normal size (XL), although according to the size chart it might have been a bit small in the bust area. Instead, I found that the bodice fit quite tight. Not uncomfortably so because the material does have some 4-way stretch to it, but enough that if you don’t fall exactly in the size chart you might want to order a size up. The bust area that I had worried about ended up being almost too big rather than too small. But between the rousing and the adjustable ties in the back, you can easily make this fit breasts that are either larger or smaller than indicated in the size chart. So, order for the bodice size and don’t worry about the bust size.
The cleaning instructions are pretty easy on this piece. Just toss this in the washing machine, warm water, gentle cycle. Either line dry or put in the dryer on tumble dry. Do not twist (in case you like to twist your lingerie?). Even after washing, no shrinkage is noted.

Tenga Hole Warmer REVIEW
To go along with all the other Tenga products I’ve been using lately, I decided to throw the Tenga Hole Warmer in with a larger order. Basically this is based on the “hot hands” hunters use to keep their hands warm, or those massage discs that warm when you use them.
Basically there is a metal disc suspended in fluid inside of the 5”x1” flexible case. When you push the metal disc it causes a chemical reaction that causes the fluid to become semi-solid and get warm. I also have one of the Heart Massagers from Pipedreams; and the Hole Warmer doesn’t get as warm, or stay as warm, as it does.
From the time you click that disc the reaction happens very quickly with it noticeably getting warm in less than a minute. Although it takes about 3 minutes reach full warmth. After 10 minutes it starts to pass the plateau of maximum warmth and slowly declines back to room temperature. I believe it is because of the smaller size (compared to the massage hearts) that it doesn’t hold the temperature as long.
Anyway, for couple’s use, I like to slide this into the masturbator I plan on using with my husband about 5-10 minutes before use. This is not just compatible with Tenga products, but any type of masturbator. This is perfect timing for a little bit of foreplay or a short massage. For solo use, it’s just enough time to start an erotic read or movie.
It’s not so much that this is going to create a “hot hole”, but that it warms it to just above body temperature. Especially for realistic feeling toys, this just adds to the realism.
When playtime is over, wipe it down and throw it in a pan of boiling water for 10 minutes. It will return to its original state and be ready to be used for next time.
In the end my over-all opinion is… meh… a nice accessory, but not a staple. It requires some thought prior to use- remembering to insert it before you need it rather than being grab and go. And it requires that you remember to boil it before it will be needed again, otherwise it’s useless. It does take away the mess and pain-in-the-ass aspect of just using warm water to achieve the same result, but has its drawbacks too. I don’t regret purchasing this, although it doesn’t get used to much in our normal rotation. I think those who will appreciate this most are those who really need to have their toys warmed prior to use, and those sick of dealing with water to do the job.

Tenga Double Hole REVIEW
The cups are really a combination of multiple ideas pulled into one. The TPE material that is inside the Cups is the same as the Tenga Eggs. If you haven’t tried those either, let me tell you, it is incredibly supple, smooth, and elastic.
What I really like about the Cups is that they are pre-lubed. When you peel back the opening layer, there is a moist “sponge” that lubricates the penis as it enters the holes. Then, the holes themselves are lubricated as well. For this alone, I think this would make a fantastic travel toy. Everything is ready to go, no need to haul around lubes that might get spilled. And when you’re done, just toss the entire thing out. Or, you could attempt to clean it and reuse it several times before the material wears out. As I mentioned, this is intended to be a one-time use toy, so user mileage may vary.
However, on that note, because this does have two completely separate sides, it is going to be good for at least two uses, minimum.
What you can feel the difference of is from the sweet vs. bitter side. The sweet side is supposed to represent vaginal sex, while the bitter side is more akin to anal sex. In use, my husband actually liked the sweet side better. He felt is was easier to thrust into and didn’t create as much of a vacuum. Also, the nubs on the bitter side are slanted a bit, so that entry is easy, but pulling out is pulling against the nubs.
All in all, he did like both sides. The sweet side was easier for me to use with him since it was easier for him to slide into. I can imagine that this might even be fun for two men to use at the same time, with the feeling of each other each others shafts gliding past one another, yet not quite in the same tract.
When we first got this I was really excited about it. I still like it and we really had a fun time playing with it together. And while it’s not overly expensive, considering you may only get two uses of it, it’s not cheap either. For that reason, I may try another one in the future when I am planning a vacation or going camping so something, but it just won’t be a standard in my house. For that honor, I’ll stick with my Tenga 3D.

Tenga 3D Review
Tenga just keeps getting better and better. First it was their Eggs which felt so amazing, but were only meant to be disposable. Then it was the Flips which were made to last, but didn’t fit as universally as the Eggs- which molded to whatever shape the wearer was. Now finally - behold - the Tenga 3D! The lasting power of the latter, with the universal appeal of the former.
The 3D comes in a clear plastic tube with a black base on the bottom and a dowel that holds it upright and in place. I wish the lid screwed down because as it is, it only stays on if kept upright. If you want to tuck it into a drawer, the clear part just pops right off.
The sleeve, when turned inside out (the natural resting state) looks like artwork. Sure, maybe that helps to disguise it at first as something other than a sextoy, but more likely, it would attract attention. Oh, what’s that sculpture there….? But I’ll admit, it has far more appeal than your run-of-the-mill stroker.
When ready to use, just flip the 3D inside out. This, ironically, makes it look kinda phallic in appearance. Do not skimp on the water-based lube, and at least your first usage worth of Tenga’s fantastic slippery stuff is provided in a foil pouch.
My husband found the fit was tight, but in a good way. Unlike the Flip which was irritating at best and painful at worst, the 3D is much more pliable. It is made of elastomer material which is known for being both durable and flexible.
I enjoyed that while stroking him I could actually feel him and not just the toy. And because the material becomes slightly opaque as it is stretched, it provides a bit of a view too. As a couple’s toy, I enjoy this more than the Flip hands down. Using this was an extension of my hands, although quite a bit thicker than the Eggs. You have a good ¼” or more thickness with the 3D between your hands and the shaft. I liked that it made it feel like I could be rougher and it would hold up, but it did decrease the sensitivity of my hands to how excited he was.
The texture, we decided, created a noticeable sensation, but not something specific. However, if you wanted, you could certainly use this inside out and thrust against the non-textured side for a different feel.
Or, because I’m always trying to play with my husband’s toys, you could be like me and place it over some slim-line vibes to add some girth and texture. Nice! Although it was kinda hard to keep it on and I’d just assume buy a toy that fits me right to start with, but at least I got to try it.

Babeland's Massage Candles REVIEW
What could possibly be a better way to kick off some Valentine’s day naughtiness than with a nice, sexy massage? I know it’s not exactly a unique idea, but there is a reason it’s one of the suggestions that are at the top of everyone’s list. They’re sexy. Relaxing. Sensual. And a chance to create a slow burn desire that literally ignites. Add in a couple of Babeland’s massage candles and you can pretty much guarantee your night will be red-hot.
I was sent three of their 1oz bottles to try in rice flower, mango vanilla, and pashmina. Each one is made with soy wax, shea butter, and their own unique fragrances. I loved all of them! For me, it’s a toss up between the rice flower which is a bit more on the feminine side with a cool and almost refreshing background and an overtone of flowers- or the pashmina (my husbands favorite), which is a softer scent that reminds me somewhat of a mixture of avon skin-so-soft and a very light scent of baby powder. Okay, I probably made that sound weird, but its hard to describe scents!
I do like the mango vanilla too, but it’s not my favorite. Probably because I’m not a big fan of vanilla. I’d probably have liked it more if the mango scent was stronger, but it’s a strong vanilla scent with a hint of mango.
None of there are overly masculine or feminine. You could buy one of the 3 oz candles in one scent you both like, or get a couple of the 1 oz’ers and switch it up (which is what I like to do). Of the three however, pashmina is probably the most guy friendly.
You’ll want to light these candles a good 10-20 minutes before you plan on using them so enough of the wax melts for the massage. You are supposed to blow them out before pouring the wax. Of course, I never do. Although my husband loves the way it feels when I tease him with an ice cube up and down his back and then pour the oil down the same cold tract.
The texture is extremely soft and creates a smooth glide for massage, but does not leave a waxy feeling on the skin. Because it does melt with warmth, I sometimes run my fingers along the edge of a completely cooled candle to pick up just a touch of oil when my fingertips feel dry. It works better than lotion! And it soaks into the skin overnight with most of the scent disappearing my morning.
Each of my candles have lasted me about 30-45 minutes of burn time each session with adequate oil use for one back massage on 3-5 occasions. Your mileage may vary depending on how long you burn them and how much oil you use for your massage.
I definitely recommend giving these a try.
