Babeland's Burlesque Pasties REVIEW

I’ve always liked the look of pasties, but have never tried them before. About the time they caught my eye I was nursing my first child, and after that I suspected that they might just enhance what was no longer as perky as it used to be. But Babeland was offering up a really pretty pair of Burlesque Pasties, so I talked myself into trying them anyway.

Surprisingly, because this so rarely happens, I was wrong. The pasties, which are almost 2 ½” in diameter, made them look a bit higher. How? I’m glad you asked. With the ample room, I just positioned the bottom of the pastie at the bottom of my areola and let the top of the pastie go just a bit higher than my nipple sits. Instant breast lift!

So now I’m sold on the whole thing and have been digging through my lingerie to find the best pieces to show them off. Of course, they look good without anything too and are probably the easiest things to put on under a sedate looking flannel pj to instantly surprise someone.

Here are some lingerie/pastie combo ideas to get you started:

They came in this gorgeous black box with Burlesque printed on the top. A tray slides out and the pasties are held within. The pasties are black with black glitter covering the entire shield and a black bow fixed proudly in the center.

To use, just peel the cover off the sticky back and place on the nipple. The sticky part is not so much like a glue as like a tacky gel that allows them to adhere firmly and comfortably, without pulling at all when you take them off. This was one of my biggest worries and it ended up being for naught. This gel also allows for the pasties to be reused multiple times. Just give the back a quick rinse in warm water, lay them down on the counter to dry for a few minutes (do not wipe as it will leave fibers behind that will weaken the stickiness), place the covers back on the back, and put them away.

Thank you Babeland for sending me the Burlesque Pasties to review!
