First Time Jack Rabbit by California Exotics REVIEW
I’ve tried several of the “First Time” line products by California Exotics now. This time I’ve received their First Time Jack Rabbit in pink. I wasn’t too impressed with the last couple by any standards, beginner or not. The rabbit faired a little better with me. But it really left me to contemplate the idea of a beginner toy and what it really means, despite the fact that I am in no way anywhere near the “first time” user. Being married almost 10 years and having two kids kinda precipitates that.
Basically, you have the typical rabbit shape vibe made of squishy, clear TPR. The shaft is 5” long and 1 ½” in diameter. It is semi-phallic in shape, sporting an exaggerated mushroom head. Well… not like the head of a real penis, but like an actual mushroom. Aside from the girthy head, there is no other texture or variation of the shaft size.
The functions are limited with this model. You get rotation of the head and of the metal beads, which can is reversible to either the clockwise or counter-clockwise. There is no way to vary the slope of the rotation swing, nor the speed or the rotation. And you can’t separate the functions of the rotation from the beads. It’s all or nothing.
That said, limited yes, but I was happy with it. The programmed speed suited me just fine. The metal balls stimulated me perfectly from the entrance to the g-spot. They were neither too abrasive feeling, nor unnoticeable… unlike other models I’ve tried. Oh, and most impressively, the rotation did not peter out when I neared orgasm and my muscles started to clench.
The clit stimulator, on the other hand, was a complete disappointment. Utter fail. It had one speed, and three patterns: steady, slow pulse and fast pulse. But honestly, it wouldn’t have mattered if it had 300 patterns. I could barely feel the vibration. Not just “oh, this isn’t quite as strong as I like”, but “is it on?”. Yeah, it wasn’t even strong enough to work me up to a tease, so I turned it around it backwards so I could have access with another toy. My ass could hardly pick up the vibrations. I think the entire toy would be better without the stimulator all together. My only positive remark on this would be that the shape and length would it suitable to hit most ladies’ clits, but I guess it doesn’t really matter if you can’t feel the vibrations anyway.
All together, I can’t rate this toy as highly as I would have like to because the clit stimulator is pretty much useless. Is it beginner friendly? I think so. Is it going to be up to the standards of what a beginner should expect from their toys? Ummm… not with the clit motor being so weak. It would have been better to have multiple speeds than multiple patterns. What I will say is this… I don’t mind using it for the shaft alone. That part works better than some of my more expensive models. But I also don’t mind substituting my fingers or my Eroscillator for the clit stimulation, which I won’t do without.
Beginner or not, I don’t mind that it only has the basic functions. But I’d rather find one with basic functions and a stronger clit motor.
Thank you California Exotics for sending me the First Time Jack Rabbit to review!
