Babeland's Eco-Tote Bag REVIEW
On of the best things about Babeland is their dedication to being eco-friendly and socially aware. Not only do they have yearly events where you can “come for a cause” and know that part of your money is being donated to one of many causes, but now they are offering re-useable canvas shopping bags that support the enviroment.
When the bag first arrived to me I was a little surprised how small it was. I thought, this thing is going to be useless. Well, maybe not, maybe just big enough to hold a bullet and some batteries. Of course when I picked it up, I realized the part I was looking at was only the bag holder. Duh.
The small blue bag says Babeland on the side and closes with drawstring and a plastic slider. Inside this bag is more of the same blue canvas, which, when pulled out fully becomes the perfect size and shape shopping bag with the Babe logo on the front. The small bag stays attached so it can’t get lost, and is always available to store the bag keeping it neat, clean, and efficiently tucked away. How cute!
Though it may say Babeland on the side, there is nothing obvious about it. It’s not so loud that anyone would feel uncomfortable with it, but if you are worried about being completely discreet, you can keep this for around the house use. Use it to transport or store your toys. Use it to keep odds and ends collected in your vehicle. Use it in your diaper bag. Or just proudly take it out next time you are at the grocery store… if the cashier should be so knowledgeable as to recognize Babeland, ask her what her favorite toy is!
Thank you Babeland for sending the Eco-tote my way to review!

Glass Reflections Hope by Doc Johnson REVIEW
USE
Hope is one of the new Doc Johnson’s line of Glass Reflections vibrators. The metallic, deep-pink glass is punctuated by large, dark purple nubs and clear swirls. The effect is decidedly feminine, though either gender could enjoy this toy. The ideal use would be for insertion not just because of the shape and design, but because the vibrations are very diffuse. However, caution would have to be taken if used anally, as it does lack a safety base.
MATERIAL / TEXTURE
Glass may be one of the sexiest sex-toy materials out there. The solid, heavy, and cool weight feel exciting from the first touch. It has no smell, no taste, no foreign feeling. It feels powerful and intense. Completely smooth and super slippery with only minimal amounts of your favorite lube.
One of glass’s most notable features is that it’s ideal for temperature play. Simply place the vibe in cool or warm water, or in the fridge for a few minutes to illicit a whole new sensation to your foreplay. Hope quickly absorbs both temperatures, though they do tend to fade slightly quicker than solid glass wands.
Because Hope is made from borosilicate glass, it does not break easily. And even if it should, it would not shatter into small pieces. Rather, it is made to withstand temperature changes and stress, making it an ideal choice for a sex toy. Glass is also hypo-allergenic, non-porous, and phthalate-free. It is even safe for sharing with a partner, provided it is sanitized between uses.
DESIGN / SHAPE / SIZE
If temperature-play and vibrations weren’t enough to lure you in, the design certainly will. The shaft is stick-straight with the entire toy being 6” long, with 4 ¾” of which insertable, and a 1 ½“ diameter. Though this may not sound overly large, it does feel bigger in use because it has no give. Yet at the same time, it would present little risk to most women’s cervix as opposed to longer versions. The tip is tapered like a torpedo, and only ½” from the tip starts the continuous raised swirl that is felt over the first three inches. Where the swirl ends, the large raised nubs start.
This texturing is not just meant to make Hope pretty- although is does- but it is meant to be felt. The swirl is quite innocent adds to the feeling of thrusting by creating ridges that massage with each stroke. Though the swirl does create a noticeable sensation, it is perfectly suitable for all users and even shallow anal penetration.
The nubs, however, are for the more experienced user… or at least a well-excited user. They are actually a little bigger than a lady-bug, including their height. Due to their placement, which is only over the last inch of the insertable portion, they are only intended to massage at the entrance. They create a very noticeable bumpy texture that might feel overwhelming in any other material, but because glass glides so smoothly, only adds an increased awareness with each stroke.
FUNCTIONS / PERFORMANCE / CONTROLS
Sometimes simple is better. The three-speed motor is focused at the tip of the shaft and controlled via the push-button control on the bottom of the battery cap. With each push the speeds progress from low, to medium, to high… and then back to off. The cap is plastic and the button is rubbery in texture, and highly raised, making it easy to feel, but does not accidentally change speeds in use.
The vibrations are a cross between a deep and rumbling, and somewhat buzzy. Even on the highest setting, because the vibrations are so diffuse over the length of the shaft, they are not overwhelming. But combined with the cool glass and interesting textures, the vibrations add the perfect amount of sensation for a completely exciting experience.
The glass not only diffuses the vibrations, but also quiets them as well. Hope could barely be heard through covers, and not at all through a closed door. But not only is it quiet, it’s waterproof as well. A word to the wise though, if this touches the side or bottom of the tub while in use, the noise could wake the dead.
CARE AND MAINTANCE
Glass is compatible with all lube types and safe for sharing if sterilized between uses. Glass is not only easy to clean with soap and hot water, but is sterilizable with a 10% bleach solution or rubbing alcohol. Do not attempt to boil or microwave this toy due to the internal motor. Remove the 1 AA battery prior to storage to ensure battery-life and prevent corrosion.
For safe storage, be sure to buy a padded toy pouch to protect the glass from accidental bumping. And though it is small enough for travel, special considerations must be made, such as a plastic case.
PACKAGING
The packaging for Glass Reflection’s Hope may not be discreet, but is still classy. Arriving in a clear plastic box, and housed in a clear plastic tray, the pink of the vibe is accented by the green hearts and swirls design. Very cute, very presentable. Not suitable for long-term storage though, and minimal instructions located only on the side of the box.

Warm-n-Glow Vibrator by California Exotics REVIEW
There are a lot of people who complain when their toys get warm. Of course I worry about the integrity of the motor, but I actually enjoy the warming sensation. I’ve always preferred warm over cool in temperature play because it feels more natural to me and adds a type of heightened awareness in my orgasm nerves.
So Cal Exotics has created a vibrator that is actually meant to get warm in use. The concept is simple, comfortable, and can be used any way you want. The design is basically two cylindrical bodies that are hooked together with a flexible neck. The bottom cylinder is the size of half a banana and has a slight hour-glass shape that makes it super easy and comfortable to keep hold of. The top is the size of a large bullet and is the portion through which the heat and vibrations are felt.
The entire toy is made of PU-coated plastic, which incredibly soft and damn near seamless. I always prefer that my plastic toys are coated like this because they feel like pure velvet and glide over the skin even no lube. Of course, the second thing I like is that it is compatible with any type of lube you prefer to use. And because it has no give, it transmits vibrations very well. Plastic is hypo-allergenic and phthalates-free, but not suitable for sharing since it is semi-porous.
PERFORMANCE: WHAT I LIKED
I made the comparison already that the vibrating part is shaped like a bullet. Well, that is essentially what it is. It has the nice strong vibrations and directness that women have come to love from bullets. But the handle makes controlling it much easier for solo or partnered use and keeps fingers from getting numb trying to hold it in place. This is also much more suitable for shallow insertion, and was even able to hit my g-spot, although I do have toys that I don’t have to work so hard use that way.
The warming of course, gives it that added zing. Its not something that’s feels overheated or uncomfortable, it’s just a comfortable warm that I think would be suitable for most people. It also has a cool light-up feature in the bullet itself which presents as three glowing orbs. They aren’t overwhelmingly bright, but are kinda sexy in partnered play and give some direction in the dark of how well your aim is.
And finally I always love when my toys are waterproof. So much easier to clean, and well, they make bath time so much fun (in the words of Elmo)! The power is quite decent as you would expect since it does take two AA batteries. The vibrations are powered in either medium or high speed, and are a high-frequency rumble. Any higher and they’d be buzzy, but I think they will be universally enjoyed. Especially by those who like more the more powerful bullets, this is one of the stronger ones I’ve come across.
PERFORMANCE: WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE
There honestly isn’t much that I didn’t like about this toy. Truly, the only thing I can say is that it really boasted on the box about the flexible head, which in truth only flexes about 15 degrees. But on the other hand, it’s the lack of flexibility that makes it so easy to use and allows for the firm pressure that I like against my clit. I suppose I could also say that it didn’t have much by way of speeds (just the two) and had no patterns. But you know what? If something works the way it is, who cares about bells and whistles you don’t even use a lot the time?
CONCLUSION
I really enjoyed this toy and I recommend giving it a try. It’s not some unparallel concept or have 900 different possible combinations. It’s just something that works, and works well. The vibrations are powerful…. Powerful enough I can use them over top of my pants, and easier to use than a regular bullet. Or even when you’re just sitting at the computer. Well, gotta go…..

Throbbing Hearts Erotic Rabbit by Doc Johnson REVIEW: Two Throbbing Penises, Can You Handle It?
Always a sucker to try something unique, I’d been wanting to try the one of the Throbbing Hearts rabbits by Doc Johnson for awhile. I really didn’t have much idea what it did, but it sounded like fun.
I wasn’t crazy about the design, which is basically a standard rabbit, but with a straight shaft featuring an oddly shaped mushroom head. Oh yeah, and the second penis-shape, which is the clit stimulator. Something about it makes me feel somewhat perverted. Is this a mini penis? A baby penis? I don’t know.
Size-wise, it is somewhat substantial at 11” in total length, 5 ½” insertable, and a 1 3/5” diameter. Because of the internal mechanisms, it feels larger in use than it is. And because the TPE material feels tacky and has a significant amount of drag, its not quite out of the realm of beginners, but it does require a good amount of water or silicone-based lube.
TPE is a semi-porous material, not suitable for sharing, that ranges from extremely soft to hard tactilely. In this case, it is extremely pliable and flexible… or would be if not for the hard structure underneath. The head of the clit stim is very squeezable. It does clean well with soap and warm water or toy cleaner, though it is not considered sterilizable. The more important thing seems to be storage. I haven’t had mine long at all, but I’ve already caused a significant dent/bruise to the surface of mine from not paying attention it getting a bit squeezed in my drawer against another toy. I recommend a padded toy pouch and careful storage.
The package it arrived in would not likely be suitable for such storage. It did come in a clear plastic package with a plastic form that holds the toy firmly, but it was not at all discreet and takes up way more room than most people plan to use for a toy.
PERFORMANCE: WHAT I LIKED
I know you don’t care about how deliciously girthy this is, especially with the subtle inner skeleton creating gentle bulbs that massage all the way in. Or that it is about the perfect length to make you feel completely full. You’ve been wondering about the same thing I was… the throbbing. I don’t blame you, it is different that anything that’s come before it.
In essence, the “throbbing” is an expanding and contraction of the inner skeleton that causes it to beat like a heart. Throbbing Hearts. Makes sense. The feeling creates is unique and pretty amazing. If you’ve ever had a man squeeze his PC muscles before while he is inside of you, its pretty similar to that. Except, it does this as a constant pulse. Not a vibration, mind you, the shaft does not vibrate at all, nor does it rotate.
But it does have 3 speeds that are controlled with the on and off button. Push the “on” button 3 times to escalate from low, medium, to high. And the “off” button 3 times to turn it down and/or shut it off.
However, it is still a rabbit, so lets talk about the other shaft. Oops, I mean clit stimulator. On the control, it is controlled separately with a button designated “bullet”, that turns the clit stim on and off. Or use the “7F” button to scroll through the 7 functions. First is goes through low, medium, and then high speeds, and then the four pulse patterns; escalation low to high, fast pulse, fast pulse followed by an lengthy buzz, and throbbing that feels almost like a constant buzz, but with a kick. The last one is probably my favorite. Push “7F” one more time and the patterns start over.
I really like that the clit stimulator gives direct vibrations, but is very soft and flexible, so it is one of the most comfortable ones I’ve found. I may not find is aesthetically pleasing, but wow, does it feel good.
PERFORMANCE: WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE
Okay, now that I’ve gone and painted a really rosy picture, let me rip off the tinted glasses. First off, this thing is loud. Distracting in use, and hope the people in the next room can’t hear me, loud. Besides just the sound of the motor, it also makes somewhat of a “popping” sound and when it goes from fully expanded to the contraction. And you can actually feel it in use. I think it probably wouldn’t bother most people too much, but I think it is worth mentioning. I think it would be better if there was some way to get a smoother transition with the beats.
Second, when I clamp down on the shaft- like, say, during orgasm- it dogs out and quits throbbing. Which leaves me incredibly frustrated. And I have to work really hard to get that far because the strength of the clit stimulator is mild-moderate at best. And the vibrations are far buzzier than I prefer.
And finally, the buttons are hard to discern in use. Especially with slippery fingers. It might sound like I’m just being picky, but when you can’t figure out how to change speeds or shut the darn thing off, you’ll understand.
CONCLUSION
When it comes down to it for a conclusion, I’m always trying to evaluate if I really want to recommend this product to other users. Many times the answer isn’t as clear-cut as I wish… with all the different aspects to consider, not the least of which is that no one toy will be ideal for all users. This is the perfect example.
I like this toy. It’s not great, but it is unique. I enjoy using it, maybe for that reason alone, but its noisy and abrupt in its transitioning of expansion to contraction. Its not made from the most long-lasting material and it loses power quickly as the batteries drain. At almost $80 from Edenfantasys, it’s not going to work for everyone, and not everyone is going to like it. If it were a more reasonably priced, I’d say everyone should try it. But it’s a gamble. If you’re looking for a staple rabbit, look elsewhere. If you are looking for something different and unique, and have the money to spend, give this one a try.

The Dotted Silicone Delight by GoodVibes REVIEW
Can’t go wrong with a curved purple silicone dildo, right? So I had to try it when it was offered for review from GoodVibes. When it arrived here in it’s bulky clear-plastic clamshell, I was less than excited. I wasn’t that there appeared to be anything wrong with it, I just didn’t look very special.
The shaft is 6” long, with a 1 ½” diameter. It does have a near 30 degree curve and a bulbous head. The silicone is completely smooth, save for the large nubs coming it from the front of the base.
On the front of the base and the bottom of the base are cavities that house the two included bullets. However, I recommend using a bit of lube to ease them in because the silicone feels somewhat tacky and has a lot of drag. In use, it wets up well, so it didn’t seem to drag, but lube is a must!
PERFORMANCE: WHAT I LIKED
Unfortunately, I didn’t care much for this toy. There were a lot of things I thought I would have or should have liked, but just didn’t do much for me. However, one thing that sticks out that felt pretty incredible was the bulbous head. With each stroke, I could feel the suction it created at my pelvic bone. This is perfect for clamping down on if you like squeezing your pc muscles during thrusting.
This is pretty beginner-friendly as well, with mild measurements and little texture. However, it proved a bit boring for me. The bullets didn’t knock my socks off, but I thought it was quite clever that there are two, and the vibrations felt more uniformly dispersed through the shaft, though they did fade to almost nothing near the head.
What I unexpectedly liked about the bullet in the front? I used it to hook my finger around and keep the shaft facing upwards perfectly. It is the perfect guide, and not once did I find that the curve had slipped off center.
PERFORMANCE: WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE
Now, about those things that should have worked but didn’t. I really thought the curve would be perfect, and it did hit my g-spot. But, because the silicone flexes pretty easily, it felt more like a mild stimulation than the deep massage I was hoping for. Maybe if the diameter had been a little more girthy it would have made up for it, but it lacked in providing that “full” feeling as well.
The nubs as well looked like something that would feel interesting. But they just didn’t match-up with my anatomy very well at all. When inserted deeply, I could feel them a bit at my entrance, but the shaft would then be inserted too deeply for g-spotting… and the nubs never got quite deep enough to really add much to the experience. So I tried to stroke more shallowly and use the nubs on my clit, but because the curve is so gentle, they didn’t even come close to hitting my clit at all.
Which was a shame because the placement of one of the bullets should have provided somewhat direct vibrations to the clit. But since we’re talking about the bullets, I detest that they run on 3 LR44 watch batteries apiece. Which means they are only good for about 30 minutes of use, and are expensive to replace. Further, they are only mild-moderate in intensity and extremely buzzy.
CONCLUSION
I should have liked it. I didn’t. Its not really a quality issue, I didn’t have any issues with it in that respect. I just found it lacked the basic requirements that would fit it to my anatomy, and neither did it have anything special that “saved” the experience for me. If you are new to toys and curves, by all means, give it a try. If you like strong vibrations and/or firm g-spotting, there are better options.

Jesse Jane's Treasure Trove by Digital Playground REVIEW: Pirates Do It Harrrrrder!
It stands to reason, and is long past time, that I tried one of the Pirate toys. One of the reason the others didn’t appeal to me was that most took watch batteries, and I’d heard they were not very powerful. Put Jesse Jane’s Treasure Trove Vibrator is only gorgeous, but takes 2 (yes, 2) C batteries. Oh. Hell. Yes.
The toy comes in a clear plastic clamshell with a cardstock backing that features Jesse Jane in her full Pirates costume. On the back are some brief notations of the toys features and instructions. The toy itself is the highlight. As it should be with it’s pretty mulberry coloring, skulls and rose motif, and clear rhinestones. This one is almost as fun to look at as it is to play with.
Its made of PU-coated plastic, that feels satin-soft against the skin, with minimal drag. Because it is made of plastic, it is latex-free, hypo-allergenic, and phthalates-free. And is suitable for use with whatever your favorite type of lube, including silicone. It is splash-proof, making it easy to clean with mild soap and warm water or toy cleaner. I have not noticed any fading of the printed design at all, which was one of my original concerns.
What is not interesting to me about the design is that it is a stick-straight slim line, with only a tapered end to aid insertion. Yes, it looks pretty that way. But, its not quite as interesting to use internally. Unless I really crook my wrist, I can’t get much g-spot stimulation. It is pretty thin, with only a 1 ¼” diameter, so I don’t get as much pleasure out of clenching down on it as with a girthier toy.
Though I must admit, it is a pretty good thruster. The shaft alone is 6 ¼” insertable, 8” total. The end-cap is easy to keep hold of in use as it is slightly bulb-shaped, and the rhinestones actually provide some texture for gripping, in an otherwise texture-free toy.
At the end of the end-cap is the only control for this toy, labeled 5, for its five functions. With each push it increases from low, medium, to high speeds. Then to the first vibration pattern which is a moderate-paced pulse. And finally onto the fifth pattern, two high pulses followed by a long pulse. The next push will turn the toy off. I like that the controls are simple to use, but do wish it was easier to go back through the patterns that having to go to the end and shut them off. And, as I’m always concerned about, not being able to shut if off quickly in an emergency.
Now, if it weren’t for this last part, my opinion of this toy would only be mediocre at best. But, as you might expect from the dual C batteries, this toy packs a punch. This is honestly one of the few straight-up vibrators intended for insertion, that I can actually use on my clit and have an orgasm from. Sure, there are others that are nice for building up, but they have always lacked enough power to get me more than just tingly. I wasn’t actually sure one existed!
The vibrations are very deep, not quite as deep as Lelo Siri, but damn close. Actually, they are very comparable to my Hitachi on low. Almost the exact same type of deep-rumbling vibration, and almost as strong. Not quite, but pretty damn close- especially for something that is only battery powered. In fact, after holding onto the shaft for just a short amount of time to test it out, my hand is pretty numb.
The vibrations are felt throughout the shaft, although they feel the strongest over the top half, then get progressively shallower towards the base, leaving the handle very easy to hold onto. Certainly not numbing to use when you hold the correct end.
So, I mentioned that I like this for clit use, and other bits such as nipples and various erogenous zones. It could also be used for anal use, though it is slightly porous, so I would recommend a condom or designating this for anal use only if you should so choose. But, what I haven’t talked about is how amazing this thing feels inside. Design-wise, it didn’t do much for me. Vibration-wise, it was impossible for my g-spot not to feel it. It was an “OMG, how is this doing this!?” kind of experience. Every internal bit of me was stimulated. I could feel the vibrations in my ass.
Conclusion? This toy stays at the top of my drawer. And maybe I’ll get another, just in-case.
Thank you Edenfantasys for sending me Jesse Jane's Treasure Trove to review!
What, you ask, is the only thing better than a First Mate? A Captain. A coffee brown, girthy, realistically molded silicone… Captain. Of course, he also comes in vanilla, caramel, or black for those times when you are looking to match, or just feel exotic.
It comes in a rather bulky clamshell that displays the product, but would in no way be suitable for storing, so pick up a toy pouch for this one. My first thought when I got mine was, “OMG, that’s so big, its never going to fit.” My second thought? “OMG, let me see if I can get that to fit.” Upon which I eagerly ripped it out of the package. Another reason it is not suitable for storage.
I can’t exactly say what I was expecting, but I can tell you what it wasn’t…. this thing is rock solid. Hard. Barely any give at all. The silicone is, as usual, velvety-soft and smooth, but it has minimal flexibility and squishiness. Yet, it doesn’t feel like it is molded over plastic either. In fact, when I do try to squish it, it makes a strange crackling sound like rice crisps or something inside of it.
Its not a loud sound, or something that is heard at all during is, but just if I am manually manipulating the shaft, I can hear it. Does it bother me? Not really, other than I wonder what the heck it is because none of my other silicone toys make noise. But for someone who is looking for a toy to practice oral sex on, or give their significant other a show with… this might be a bit more of an issue.
The shaft incredibly realistic and detailed. From the perfect mushroom head and urethral opening, to the veins and slightly full/bulgy texture that a shaft has when it is rock hard. But like I said, this guy is not just hard. He is big. 7 ¼” long, and only a hair under 2” in diameter, he is made for the size-queen in us all. Are you up for the challenge? Especially since the combination of size and firmness make him feel even larger in use. I’m no virgin, but even I was a smidge intimidated by this one.
Okay, this has a great base on it that is going to lie perfectly if you are using it in a harness. It keeps it safe for anal use, though I was not even tempted to try that. But unexpectedly, it attaches quite well to smooth surfaces, like my bathtub and wall. It doesn’t look like it will, but it definitely does.
More importantly, the shape of the shaft has some surprising qualities. Just past the head, the shaft engorges a bit and tapers back down creating this bulb that rubbed so amazingly against my g-spot. Obviously, it’s not the same kind of stimulation I get from something with a strong upward hook, but along with clitoral stimulation, it is plenty enough to give me a fantastic blended orgasm.
PERFORMANCE: WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE
I know, its picky, but every time I use this I wonder if there are rice crispys in it. Noise-wise, its not distracting. But mentally, it is.
Now this I almost feel bad about saying, but sometimes I do wish it was just a bit softer. On one hand I really appreciate the firmness, since it is partly what allows for such amazing g-spotting… but on the other hand, its not the most accommodating of toys. I have to be really excited to use this one, and careful while thrusting because it does tend to bruise the cervix if you get over-excited.
CONCLUSION
Definitely, I recommend this to my fellow size-queens. Princesses, you might want to look at the First Mate, an identical toy in a slightly smaller size. Its hard not to find a use for a realistic shaft that is made of quality material that is not only a fantastic thruster, but stimulates the g-spot. I don’t even have to thrust. It just feels so filling that it is makes me aware of every inch. Every delicious inch.

Dr. Berman's Basic G-spot Vibe REVIEW: Sometimes You Just Need To Get Back To The Basics
USE
Dr. Laura Berman's Basic's G-spot Vibrator by California Exotics is designed with female-bodied use in mind. While the material and shape might have worked for anal penetration, the lack of safety-base would recommend against it.
The vibrator is a slim-line, with minimal texture allowing for even the newest of users to comfortably accommodate it, while still sporting enough of a hook that seasoned pro's will enjoy the direct impact on the g-spot. Appropriate for solo play, as well as couple's play. The toy itself is quiet and completely waterproof, as well as small enough to fit in a medium size purse. So not only is it appropriate to use just about anywhere, it is a good enough traveling companion to be taken to… anywhere!
MATERIAL AND TEXTURE
Namely, the Basic Vibe is comprised of two materials. It has silky-smooth lavender silicone covering the rigid shaft, and a lightly textured metallic-silver plastic handle that allows for easy gripping. Silicone is a highly superior material in terms of being long-lasting, as well as being able to sterilize between partners. Silicone is non-porous, hypo-allergenic, latex-free, and phthalates-free. Plastic does have the previously mentioned traits, save for the fact that it is slightly porous.
Neither material has any scent or taste, and the silicone is texture-free, perfect for all users. It has only the barest amount of squeezability, and no flexibility what-so-ever. The only aspect marring its appearance is a rather noticeable seam that runs lengthwise down the entire shaft. The seam may be felt in use by more sensitive users.
DESIGN AND SIZE
Sometimes tried and true is the best option. There aren't a lot of extra frills to the design, but the straight slim-line shaft with a strong upward curved hook is a design that works. The shaft, at 6” long (8 ¾” total length with controls), is punctuated by three raised ridges that go completely around the shaft. They start 3” from the tip, and work to provide extra stimulation to the entrance. The beauty of these is that if you don't go for texture, or only want it after a certain amount of play, you can still easily stimulate your g-spot by simply not inserting them.
The diameter, at just under 1 ¼”, combined with the length make this an ideal choice for nearly any user. Most women's g-spot is within 2-4” inches on the upper wall of the vagina, so by simply varying the stroking length, it should be easy to stimulate. Likewise, there is enough length for stroking as well.
PERFORMANCE
The Basic's Vibe does go back to the basics with its simple turn-dial controller that makes a smooth transition from the lowest vibration to the highest... and every possible interval in between. There are no patterns. The dial does turn quickly and easily, making it perfect for those times when you are unexpectedly interrupted. However, it also can be easily changed during play or even just while in storage if something bumps into it and the batteries where not removed.
The vibrations are quiet, and somewhat high in frequency, giving a bit of a buzzy feeling in use. Even on the highest setting, it is only mild/moderate in intensity. And though the vibrations are pretty evenly felt over the entire shaft, they do tend to resonate a bit in use making them feel deeper. As far as g-spotting goes, this toy relies more on the shape than the vibrations to provide direct stimulation. Unfortunately, this would probably not be well-suited for dual clitoral use, due to the lower power setting and diffuseness of the vibrations.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Because this vibe is made of silicone, it should be used only with water-based lubricants. Avoid silicone or oil-based lubes, as well as lotions and other non-water-based potions to prevent deterioration of the material.
Clean-up is simple and with just warm water and mild soap or toy cleaner, especially since the unit is waterproof. However, for those times when it requires more of a deep cleaning or sterilization after sharing, clean with a 10% bleach solution. Never attempt to sterilize by boiling or microwaving due to the motor and plastic components.
The best way to store your vibrator is by first removing the batteries, and sticking in a toy pouch or plastic bag to prevent lint from sticking to it. It also keeps it safe from other materials such as jelly and realistics, which can sometimes cause a reaction that can ruin both materials. Ensure nothing hard gets set on top the item during storage that may dent the material, and then be worry-free, silicone is known to be one of the longest-lasting sex toy materials.
PACKAGING
The Basic Vibe arrived in a clear-plastic recloseable clamshell that sported the vibrator and a tasteful cardstock backing with the “basics” name and Dr. Laura's picture on the front and product details and instructions on the back. While it was not discreet, there were also no naked people making it alarming. Included was a small piece of paper that demonstrated the way the 3 AAA batteries fit in the battery-compartment.
There was no toy pouch included. And while this would work to use for long-term storage, it does take up more room, so it is suggested to find alternate means of storage (as suggested above).
