Neon Luv Touch Lipstick Vibe by Pipedreams REVIEW: The Little Engine That Wouldn't Shut-Up

I received my first lipstick vibe in the mail from Edenfantasys about a week ago. It was the Neon Luv Touch Lipstick Vibe by Pipedreams. Immediately I could see why they call it neon, mine is yellow, and the clear plastic box is practically aglow with bright yellow highlights on the product that is definitely less than discreet. In fact, don’t open this if your family or neighbors are around, lest you risk practically blinding them.

In writing so small you nearly need a magnifying glass to read it, on the bottom of the box, is the only thing by way of instructions; takes 3 LR44 watch batteries (included). However, I found this incorrect. It comes with 4 LR44 batteries pre-inserted, and it does not run with just three.

Out of the package, I have to say, it doesn’t really look much like lipstick to me. Maybe if I had the pink tube it might be more convincing, but the yellow lube, with the turn-dial base on the bottom, and the PU-coated plastic, looks nothing like any tube of lipstick I’ve used before. I do like the PU-coating on my toys. It feels velvety-soft on my skin and has less drag that regular plastic, but it looks all wrong on a lipstick vibe.

If you take the lid off, you’ll notice that the “lipstick” itself is shiny and has some squishiness to it, which is because it made of a different material. Edenfantasys has it listed as SoftTouch material, which is similar to cyberskin. But to me, it feels and looks more like TPR. Unfortunately, there is no information on the package that could clear this up. Either way, it is a porous material that is not safe for sharing.

Coming in at 3 3/8” tall and ¾ of an inch in diameter, this is pretty accurate in size to a lube of lipstick. With the lid on it is completely cylindrical, with a flat top. The vibe can be used with the lid on to create a more diffused feeling from the vibrations. With the lid off, the shape is accurate to tube of lipstick, except for the color. But again, if you’re truly wanting this to be somewhat believable, get this in the pink tube. In all the product pictures, it shows the lipstick with a black band between the lipstick and the tube, mine does not have this. It is uniformly yellow on the entire toy.

PERFORMANCE: WHAT I LIKED
If you like high-frequency/buzzy vibes, this actually has some decent power for something so small, and that runs on watch batteries. Especially when you place the lipstick directly on your clit, the vibrations are very pin-point. That’s probably my favorite feature of this toy. If they were of the more rumbly variety, and powered by something other that watch batteries, I’d have liked this a lot more. Surprisingly, I didn’t mind the turn-dial on this toy. It was easy enough to turn, but not so sensitive that it changed speeds during play. And because it works by turning, you have total control over the speed you put it on.

PERFORMANCE: WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE
Not to sound like I’m contradicting myself, but I like more power in my toys. While it may be decent for a watch battery toy, it’s by no comparison like my rechargeable or regular battery-powered toys. And to be quite frank, I hate watch batteries. They are expensive. They don’t last long. And heaven forbid you should forget to take them out between uses, you can pretty much guarantee they will be dead before you try to use them again.

I also have to take issue with the quality of this toy. It is supposed to be waterproof, and indeed it does have a rubber O-ring, but the large gaps between the pieces leave me to seriously doubt how well it can keep water out. Even after a quick test run in the shower, I found water in the battery compartment. It still worked afterwards, but for how long? And because of these huge gaps, its less comfortable in use, and I have to wonder how well you can expect to get it clean. Every time I look at it I can’t help but imagine the little critters that are likely hiding in these cracks, in an already porous material.

And speaking of quality- and this is my biggest issue with this toy- as soon as I insert the batteries (without the lid even being on) it starts buzzing away. Even in the off position. I can still turn it up or down, but I can’t turn it off without removing the batteries. Even with a couple of the batteries inserted upside down, it still keeps going. It’s like the little engine that wouldn’t shut-up.

Maybe, just barely, I could overlook this in solo play, but it’s a complete deal-breaker as a couple’s toy. I want my toys ready to go, not have to fool around with batteries in the heat of the moment. And when you’re ready to move on to the next toy… wait, got to take the batteries out. Shit! Dropped them all over the floor! Should I stop and pick the tiny things up now while I can still find them, or wait ‘til we’re done? Thanks, but no thanks.

There are a lot of discreet vibrators out there. There are a lot of lipstick vibrators out there. I suggest trying one of those other ones, because this one has some pretty big issues. And you deserve better for your money.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
This lipstick vibe is compatible with either silicone or water-based lubes. As afore mentioned, it’s not safe for sharing as it cannot be sterilized. So before and after using, wash with soap and warm water, or toy cleaner. There isn’t any particular storage needs; it doesn’t tend to collect dust and will tuck in anywhere pretty easily, from your purse to your sock drawer.

Advanced Smart Cleaner by Evolved REVIEW: The Process Of Cleaning Your Toys Has Evolved!

USE
If you’ve read any amount of reviews, chances are, you’ve heard mention of using a toy cleaner instead of soap and water or bleach. Well, Evolved has come up with a universal toy cleaner called The Advanced Smart Cleaner, that is compatible with toys of any and every type of material. Silicone, yes. TPR, yes. Cyberskin, yes. Glass, metal, rubber? Yes, yes, yes. It also has an antimicrobial that cleanses and sanitizes, without the use of alcohol.

PERFORMANCE / INGREDIENTS
The Advanced Smart Cleaner is odorless, non-staining, and non-greasy formula that comes in a 5 ounce spray bottle. The bottle is white, with a blue label, and complete directions and ingredient list on the back. The bottle is very discreet and not likely to draw attention by one who might come in contact with it. To use it, just remove the batteries from the toy (unless it is waterproof) and spray the mist over the toy. Use a cloth to wipe away any debris ensure the cleaner is worked into all the hard to reach areas. Then rinse thoroughly, dry, and store your toy as normal. Then repeat the process before using the toy again to ensure it has been completely disinfected.

If you’ve ever wondered why it’s important to sanitize toys before and after use, consider this: You need to clean immediately after use to remove any lube or bodily fluids that might accumulate on the surface of your toy and disinfect it to prevent microorganisms from growing on the surface. But it is also important to clean before use as well, so should your toy come in contact with bacteria during storage, or not been completely disinfected the first time, you’ll want to put the antimicrobial over it again to ensure it is germ-free before use.

The formula comes out as a thin clear-liquid that feels almost like a slick water. It does help to remove any possible surface debris, but it also easily gets into any crevices, or those ever loveable ridges that feel so good but are usually impossibly hard to clean. And the ingredients, as follows, are hypo-allergenic and non-irritating.

Triclosan- Anti-microbial that is found in everything from hand-soaps to toothpastes.
Disodium Cacoamphodiacetate- This is a synthetic surfactant produced on the basis of fatty acids derived from coconut oil.
Sodium Trideceth Sulfates- Low irritation, tear-free cleansing agent used in baby shampoos and washes.
Propylene Glycol- Humectant and emulsifier found in everything from pharmaceuticals, to cosmetics, to food.
Citric Acid- A weak organic acid found in citrus fruits that acts and a preservative and is used to balance pH.
Phenoxyethanol- Also known as "Rose Essence," a fragrance compound with antimicrobial properties that works well due to its low sensitizing factor.
Purified water- Water, that has been purified of contaminates.

(The above descriptions are only a very brief record of my findings of the ingredient information, not a full disclosure, nor were they provided/verified by the manufacturer.)

It is important to note, despite the antimicrobial properties of this cleaner, you can only consider a toy sterilized if it is made from a non-porous material such as silicone, glass, or metal. Other materials can have microscopic pores that bacteria can harbor in and continue to grow during storage. But again, simply use the cleaner immediately before using to surface sanitize your toy.

PERSONAL OPINION
I found this cleanser easy to use, and liked that it was safe for use with all material types. I feel confident using Triclosan as the main active ingredient, as it has been known in the medical community to disinfect during hand-washing, and even kill Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). My only reservation is that it doesn’t really provide anything more than a regular antimicrobial hand-washing soap does. Though the thinner liquid will penetrate nooks and crannies better, and it is pH balanced for more sensitive areas. Just a couple squirts will go a long way, so just the 5 oz will last a very long time, even for those like me, who use it rather frequently.

Review of 9 Function Playful Curve by California Exotics

One thing I have to come to love about California Exotics- they know how to make a powerful toy! I received their 9 Function Playful Curve the other day in a clear plastic clamshell with a white and purple butterfly backing package. The baby blue toy was visible, and while it looked somewhat interesting, I didn’t think it would knock my socks off.

Immediately I opened up the battery compartment, checking to make sure it wasn’t another “watch battery” toy. Fortunately, no. I takes two AAA batteries that slide into a plastic case, and then into the toy. I’m not really sure I like this better than just putting the batteries directly in the toy though, it feels somewhat chintzy, and I’m always nervous I’m going to break the darn thing. I did like how the battery compartment lid locked down over the rubber O-ring, making a tight seal that didn’t feel like it would shift at all and let water in, ensuring that this toy is indeed waterproof.

The Playful Curve doesn’t necessarily look that playful to me. It is essentially 7 ¾ inches long, or 6” insertable. The middle has a somewhat bulbous taper to it that only balloons out to 1 ¼” in diameter, though the neck is only just over a half inch in diameter. So, all-in-all, its pretty slim. Great for beginners and those who prefer slimlines… but somewhat lacking for those like me who likes to feel that extra bit of stretch from their toys. Now, if this was 2” bulbous, and tapered down to 1 ½”, I’d have liked it a lot better.

But while I may not have appreciated the size that much, I did love the hook at the end of this toy. I didn’t figure it for a g-spot magnet at all, ‘til it hit mine. I can’t really explain it, the end is small, not exactly pointy, but direct. It tilts up at about a 35 degree angle, and just slides right there. And the PU-coated plastic is completely firm, so it gives that high level of pressure that I enjoy. I found that it was even quite comfortable with just a small amount of lube, much less that I usually use. And I have to say that one good thing about plastic toys- you can use them with any lube you want. Usually I use water-based lubes, but since this is waterproof, you might want to invest in some silicone lube to keep it slippery in the shower too.

Clearly this was designed for g-spotting, but I found it to be also a pretty excellent clit stimulator. The g-spot hook when held over the clit provides that very direct stimulation, while the bulbous end is a bit more diffused. Yet, because the bulbous end houses the motor, it can be diffused without loosing power the way you get with other vibes.

But about that motor… lets talk power and function. Good and bad. As I already stated, it takes two AAA batteries, which provide it with a healthy dose of power. It’s not a rocket or anything, but definitely comparable to a powerful bullet. It’s quiet enough not to be heard through a closed door, and the vibrations are rumbly and semi high-pitched. The vibrations travel pretty well on this toy, and I would say they are equally powerful on the hook part as directly over the motor. I can feel them a bit on the handle, but not enough to be uncomfortable to hold it.

The push-button control is located on the end, and works to control all the functions. And this is what I really don’t like about this toy. It has nine functions; three-speeds and six patterns to choose from. But if you want to shut the toy off, or go backwards in the patterns, you have to push the button to the end of all the patterns until it stops. And because some of the patterns are stop/start, it’s easy to think it is off, when it is really just a long pause. And you know, I could easily deal with having to scroll again through the patterns to get back to one I like, but it’s kinda a deal-breaker to me that I can’t get it to shut-off right away. I have kids, and company who drop in unexpectedly, and I don’t want to be fidgeting with the controls just to try and get it to turn off quickly.

So for me, I find this is a great “in the shower” toy. I don’t have to worry about the controls, because I have total privacy, and it works on either my clit or g-spot. The good vibrations and unique patterns are fun and different; I can see this as a really good buy for someone looking for something inexpensive that has a variety of features and multiple uses. For me, I’m enjoying playing with it for now, and I like it better than some of my other shower toys, but I don’t think it will stay as a top contender for too long.

Thank you California Exotics for sending me the Playful Curve to review!

Review of Flexi Felix by Fun Factory

Who could resist trying out Fun Factory’s Flexi Felix? Not I, that’s for sure! Besides, I think my love of Fun Factory toys is pretty obvious, especially with the fantastically soft silicone and fun, funky designs. And honestly, Felix holds up to the Fun Factory standards that I have come to expect.

It arrived in a dark grey box with “bubbles” as the design, and an open window that views the toy directly through its clear-plastic clamshell. It’s not the luxury packaging that comes with Lelo or Zini, but it’s fun in a way that makes you feel like you have received a great new toy to play with. Included were the directions in a multi-language booklet and a sample of Toy Fluid water-based lube.

Felix is this adorable little wormy creature, with eyes that double as finger holds, cute little antennas and a body with elongated balls and thin necks. While I wouldn’t exactly call it discreet, if you have kids this could easily be mistaken for one of their toys. Otherwise, you’re probably screwed. Immediately after taking Felix out of the packaging I was surprised at how, well, flexible he is. The balls themselves do have some substance, but the necks are so thin that the tail just flops downward with no support what-so-ever. I had my doubts, but I trust FF, so I’d try to drop my reservations and trust the design.

It is made of 100% non-porous, medical-grade silicone. One of the most sought-after materials for sex toys as it is non-allergenic, can be shared (after cleaning), and can be sterilized by boiling, bleaching, or cleaned using a toy cleaner. This silicone has the brushed surface that makes it feel velvety-soft and has little drag. My favorite! And all it takes is a small amount of water-based lube (avoid all other types of lube other than water-based) to get it slick and slippery.

The first time I used it I was already pretty excited from the clit toy I was using when I got this out and paired it with my Blossom Organics water-based lube. I was genuinely surprised how little it took. Only about a pea-sized amount. The hard part was getting it in, since it’s so floppy. I wish I had some amazing pointers, but all I can really say is to hold the first ball at the neck and ease the tip in. The slightly elongated balls do make it easier to insert that standard round balls. The subsequent balls were much easier to get in once the first one was in.

Size-wise, Felix is very beginner-friendly. Although he is 12 inches long (10” insertable), you can choose to insert however much you want. The first ball is 2” in circumference, and each of the 5 balls increase by ¼ of an inch in procession. And with that thought, I’d have to say this would be good even for intermediate users. Size-queens however, or those who like any type of firm pressure (for the prostate) will probably be better off looking elsewhere.

I, personally, was happy with just 3 balls. I found that the flexibility did work for me in use. It made Felix feel comfortable and easy to manage, though I just can’t help but feel that for those who prefer something more substantial in texture, firmness, or size… this just won’t fit the bill. But my beginner friends…. how can you resist this cute little face?

Review of Sweet Beauty Pot de Creme Chocolate Body Cream: You'll Have To Fight The Mice For It!

On my last order with Babeland, I asked for both the Edible Body Chocolate and the Sweet Beauty Pot de Crème Chocolate Body Cream. The cream is not meant to be edible, but rather to act as a cross between a luscious body butter and a lotion. So, in my estimation, adding some chocolate smelling lotion to the Edible Body Chocolate would help to ignite all the senses, and perhaps make the latter go a little farther?

One problem though. To me and my husband, this just smells like peanut butter. I cannot detect any chocolaty fragrance to it at all. And, as much as I like Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, every time I put this on I can’t help but think I’m going to attract mice or something!

There are lots of terrific scents that are inspired by food: strawberry, kiwi, melon, apple, etc. While I can’t imagine chocolate being a new perfume, I figured it might serve a sexy purpose and make my husband excited to find the chocolate placed on my body. But rather, I find this smell far too much like the sticky fingers of my 3 and 5 year old after PB&J sandwiches. Definitely not sexy. Definitely does not help set the mood… or rather, not the mood I was going for.

Now, if smelling like peanut butter sounds really sexy to you, I can say that the product itself is quite good. It is paraben-free and made with natural ingredients, as follows:
Distilled Water, Grape Seed Oil, Shea Butter Oil, Capuacu Butter and Babassu Seed Oil infused with Organic Fair Trade Cocoa and Nibs, Cocoa Absolute, Vegetable Emulsifying Wax, Glycerin, Stearic Acid, Natural Chocolate Flavor Oil, Honeysuckle Extract, Citric AcidAs stated above, this is neither a lotion, nor a body butter, but feels somewhere in between. It is a little thicker than lotion, but rubs in easily the way lotion does. It does seem sit somewhat on the skin rather than rubbing in completely. Yet, it doesn’t feel greasy or oily. I think it works rather well in conjunction with massage oil to give a great massage. And in closing, it does leave my skin feeling very soft and supple. I can see myself trying this again in the future, but I think I’ll stick to my fruit-flavored inspirations.

Review of Dream Maker Nocturnal Emissions by Evolved:

Dream Maker Nocturnal Emissions by Evolved
Type: G-spotting/Waving Rabbit
Powered by: 4 AAA batteries
Noise:
Power:
Love It Rating:

The “wave” motion vibrators are a unique take on the standard rotating shaft/spinning disc rabbits, that is nothing short of ahhhmazing! Actually, to be more accurate, this is a great variation on the stroking rabbits that so often get jammed. This gives that perfect double stimulation to both the clitoris and g-spot, while being easy to use and control solo.

So, a fantastic and unique rabbit deserves some classy packaging… especially when its from Evolved. And they didn’t disappoint. The vibrator arrived in a silver metallic tin with purple and white writing and butterfly designs, and a clear window that peers into a direct view of the purple rabbit itself. The tin opens with a tab closure on the side, revealing the toy held in firmly in a molded plastic shell; the user’s manual tucked inside as well. With the half-clamshell removed, the box makes a great storage option for not just the Nocturnal Emissions, but a few other small toys or lubes as well. The tin also makes this a great gifting option, with or without wrapping.

I lift the Nocturnal Emissions from its comfortable bed and notice that the TPR has a light soapy scent and feels almost tacky, having an immense amount of drag on my fingers (remedied quickly with a small about of lube). Probably more so than I have noticed with any other toy before. Though it is very squishy and flexible at the top two inches, as I would expect it to be. The material that covers the waving portion is thinner to allow for the disc’s to rotate, but also allows for them to be easily felt in use. There is a moderate size seam that runs the entire length of the toy, though I didn’t find that I noticed it at all in use. I do think it detracts from the toy’s clear, but purple tinted appearance.

As with most toys, I immediately open the battery compartment and slide out the battery pack. I notice that it takes 2 AAA batteries. So I search desperately for a few minutes before finding a pair, tuck them into the pack and hurry them into the compartment. I push the power button and nothing. Nothing. I try again and again to make the battery pack line up with the metal ports, but still nothing. By now I’m getting pissed, as well as frustrated. But finally I pull the pack back and out and by chance notice that it actually takes 4 AAA batteries, 2 more that go on the other side. Well, duh. I hope I’m the only one that would make such a rookie mistake, but just make sure that you put all the batteries in before expecting it to work.

Now I have it up and running, finally. The buttons are pretty standard as far as rabbits go. There are 7 buttons, a master on/off switch (excellent if you need to shut the unit off quickly), separate controls to increase and decrease the 5 speeds of both the clit stimulator and waving motion, a control that reverses the waving motion, and one that goes through the 5 pulse patterns. While they aren’t at all hard to figure out, I didn’t find them the easiest to use during play, as the small rubbery buttons blend in with the velvety PU-coated plastic base. And the star shaped control indicator that lights up also masks the feelings of the buttons in use. It did get somewhat easier as I memorized the pattern a bit better, but for those who lack sensitivity in their fingertips, changing patterns or functions could be a difficult task.

The clit stimulator details…
The clit stimulator is 2 ½” inches long (from the inside) and somewhat bunny shaped, with a single ear rather than 2 flicking ones. It is powered separately from the shaft via a pretty decent bullet. I generally feel disappointed in rabbit clit stimulators, though I found this one stronger than most. The vibrations are on the on the rumbly side and seemed to penetrate more so than other rabbit shapes whose ears just tickle over the clit.

I was also pretty excited that the stimulator actually reached my clit. I like my clit to be stimulated from the top and many just don’t reach that high. Though if you prefer a lower stim you still won’t be disappointed, as the design and flexibility are going to maximize points of contact. And of course- if size, shape, or vibrations aren’t quite to your liking, this rabbit is a perfect design that you can just turn it around and use a different toy on your clit without sacrificing the internal sensations. On the other hand, if you like triple stimulation, this is a good way to get all of the above!

Shaft and waver details and experience….
The Nocturnal Emissions is a total of 10 inches long and 12.6 oz. This does make it somewhat cumbersome in use, and I found that if I tried to let go of the base at all it tended to shoot quickly out of me. I really thought I would like the finger grips that were designed on back of the base, but for the life of me I can’t figure out how you could possibly use them to hold the toy in use without jacking your wrist out of joint, but they do help keep a grip on the base I guess.

The insertable portion is 5” long, with a diameter of 1 3/5”, and rather than being stick straight, mimics an actual deep rippling wave. While I thought this might be a bit too long for g-spotting, in use I quickly realized that this positioned the discs at the perfect depth to wave over my g-spot. Remember the discs are located 2” down from the tip and are about 1 ¾” long, so this leaves the wavers to stimulate from 2 ¼” deep, through 4” deep. For most women this will have no trouble locating that illusive g-spot. Though you absolutely cannot angle hard on this toy as it could cause the discs to jam and void the warranty. So if you find that the only way to find your g-spot is with a strong hook, this might not quite reach. Though I admit, I do usually like hooks, and while this doesn’t give that pressure that a hook does, it still provides plenty of sensation between combination of the design and the discs.

The waves are not at all what I expected, though I can’t really complain about them at all. I’ve seen videos of other brands where the discs were two halves that actually undulated in and out to create a wave. With the Nocturnal Emissions the discs are 6 pronged stars that are laid over one another and slightly turned. The effect is similar to a drill in slow motion that spirals around and creates the rolling effect. The reverse button will cause this to roll upwards or downwards depending on your preference. I would have loved if it had a pattern that automatically changed direction every couple seconds.

I’ve heard some complain that the waves were hard to feel (on similar models, not this particular one), but I didn’t find that to be the case at all. I had no trouble feeling the sensations what-so-ever. But for me, it didn’t feel as much like a stroking penis as I thought/hoped it would. This could be because the wavers are only 2” worth of the shaft, not much compared to other models. Or it could be the difference in design that it feels more like a circular rolling than stroking. Or it could just be that the experience just felt different to me. But at any rate, I found absolute pleasure in the unique stimulation to my g-spot and was not at all disappointed. Of two things I am certain- first, I will try any other waving rabbit(s) I can get my hands on. Second, I will replace this when it dies. Immediately.

Cleaning and Maintenance…
You can use both water and silicone-based lubes with this toy, a definite advantage if you will be using this in the water at all, as it is waterproof. Though I found the weight and size made this too cumbersome to bother using in the shower, and made the normally relatively quiet (for a rabbit) vibrator too loud in the tub. It does make it much easier to clean as you don’t have to worry about getting water in the battery compartment. Simple soap and water is all you need, but toy cleaner will work as well. TPR is a porous material, so do not share this vibe, and consider using condoms if you are prone to infections.

Before storing back in the tin, be sure to remove the batteries to extend battery life and prevent corrosion to the connectors. Nocturnal Emissions is a bit of a lint magnet if not stored properly, so always give a quick rinse before using. And although you can expect around 3-4 hours of use on a set of batteries, keep plenty around, because you’ll be using this one a lot. Well, I am, at least.

Review of ID Stimulating Gel Mild for Her by Westridge Laboratories

ID Stimulating Gel Mild for Her
Action: Warming sensation
Size: .5oz
Love It Rating:

USE / TEXTURE / TASTE / AROMA
If you are looking for a warming/stimulating gel that increases female arousal, but is gentle enough for beginners or those very sensitive to warming creams- this could be it! The Mild formula is an excellent lubricant that makes your lady-bits slippery during foreplay, while adding that oomph that helps get and keep you aroused.

The best use for ID Stimulating Gel Mild is to increase arousal via the clitoris and to create a unique warming sensation that enhances foreplay and masturbation. Mild comes in a 1/2 oz clear tube with purple writing that identifies the product. The white cap is a push-pump dispenser that makes it easy to use, even one-handed, conveniently dosing out a pea-sized drop of gel that is generally enough for one application.
Mild is a true clear "gel" that comes cleanly out of the dispenser and creates a pooled half-pea of liquid that is not at all runny. In this aspect, Mild doubles as a lubricant that helps fingers rub easily over the clitoris. The lubricant action maintains itself well in use, keeping things slippery without the need for constant reapplication or use of additional products.

The formula is non-staining, and is undetectable if accidentally spilled onto sheets or other materials. The gel does not feel at all greasy in use and dries non-sticky on the skin, leaving skin feeling "clean" after use, rather than in need of an immediate shower.

The scent of Mild is very gentle and only detectable when held directly under the nose. The aroma is light and reminisce of artificial sugar, slightly of peppermint... and perhaps, vanilla? And Mild tastes pretty much the way it smells. While it is not designed to be tasted, should your lips happen to sample a small amount left on the skin, it is not overly strong in taste. However, putting any larger of an amount in your mouth will lead to a strong taste that is both bitter and artificially sweet.

PERFORMANCE / INGREDIANTS
Approximately one squirt is all that is really needed from this gel. The thickness does keep the clitoris and surrounding areas plenty slick for foreplay, though a second lube for penetration may also be desired. The warming sensation is mild and causes a gentle tingle during use. The effects start to take place within around 20-30 seconds and last for around 5 minutes. This makes this gel ideal for those who are looking for an extra boost that will increase blood-flow and arousal, or just make foreplay or masturbation sessions a little extra fun. Through the effects are not long-lasting, this too may be ideal for those who are sensitive or easily overwhelmed by stronger portions. Unfortunately, the warming and tingling sensations are only felt on the clitoris, as other sensitive areas (like the nipples) are not quite sensitive enough to feel the full effects.

There are a whole host of ingredients listed on the back which I have very briefly given uses for:

Aqua- water, adds moisture
Glycerin- humectant that adds moisture to skin and creates sweet taste
Ethoxydigycol- decreases viscosity
Hydroxyethylcellulose- gelling and thickening agent
Passiflora Incarnata Flower Extract- protects and conditions skin, adds flavoring
Coryanthe Yohimbe Bark Extract- sexual stimulant and libido increaser that works by increasing blood flow to erectile tissues
Panax Ginseng Root Extract- stimulant that increases sexual arousal
Lepidium Meyenii- balances hormones and normalizes testosterone levels, stimulates genitals
Turnera Aphrodisiaca Extract- blood vessel dilator, sexual enhancer
Citric Acid- preservative, adds sweet and bitter taste
Flavor- ummm, adds flavor?
Niacin- vitamin B3. Stimulates microcirculation to create a warm or tingling sensation while nourishing and stimulating nerve endings
Methylparaben- anti-fungal and preservative
Potassium Sorbate- potassium salt of sorbic acid, a naturally occurring antimicrobial compound; used as a preservative
Sodium Benzoate- antimicrobial, preservative, adds bitter taste
Stevia Rebaudiana Extract- artificial sweetener
Vanillyl Butylether- alternative to vanillyl alcohol that causes mild warming sensation

(The above descriptions are only a very brief record of my findings of the ingredient information, not a full disclosure, nor were they provided/verified by the manufacturer.)

Some of the above ingredients may be of concern to certain individuals who are sensitive or have a history of allergic reactions. However, none of the above ingredients have been considered by the FDA as unsafe for use by humans, and are generally considered safe for consumption in small amounts.

PACKAGING
The box that Mild arrived in features deep swirls of reds, pinks, purples and black with a white ID logo and the words "Stimulating gel for her" written on the front. Directions and the ingredient list are found on the back. There is a clear plastic portion that showcases the Mild tube, though the box was approximately 5x larger than the tube of gel itself. The gel is held in the corner with an extra piece of cardboard, and the rest of the box contains two samples of other lubes from the manufacturer. One is ID Glide water-based lube, the other is ID Millennium silicone-lube. (Remember that silicone lubes should never be used with silicone toys.)

While the packaging is not discreet, it is not "loud" either. It is both sexy and feminine, and could be easily packaged for gift-giving or adding to a home-made gift-basket. Keeping the box for storage is not likely as it is so much larger than the products itself, but storage is not really needed as the tube is self-contained in its own right.

PERSONAL OPINION
I really feel kinda conflicted on this one. I like that the gel doubles as lubricant so I don’t end up diluting the sensations using an extra lube. On the other hand, I’m not that sensitive and would appreciate a stronger warming sensation. Fortunately, ID has considered this and created a WILD version that is supposed to be stronger and I may end up trying that one out. This one doesn’t have quite the oomph I am used to from my Blossom Organics Arousal Gel, nor does the sensation last as long. So in that aspect, I’d rather just use my Blossom Organics. I’ll probably give it a few more chances, but I am doubtful that this will end up staying near the top of my drawer for very long.
