Review of Liberte by Extase: Show Me The Power. No, Really. Where Is The Power?

Liberte by Extase
Type : Rechargeable Clit Vibe
Noise :
Power :
Love It Rating :

I received a gorgeous package in the mail a few days ago, and in it was the Liberte by Extase. Seriously. Impressive. Packaging. The entire box was sealed in plastic, ensuring no one has touched your toy. The top cover is white and sports a picture of the toy and some product features. This piece slides off and reveals a thick purple cardboard jewelry-style box.

The purple package has no writing or pictures, and would be ideal if you are intending to present this as a gift to someone. The top lid lifts open and reveals the toy itself and a detailed user manual in several languages. The remaining pieces are stored in a pull-out drawer underneath, and include a 1-year warranty card, the USB charging cord and a USB to AC adapter, as well as a plush velvety gray toy pouch. The entire set-up is super classy and rivals other leading luxury brands.

And this is where I had my bubble burst. Unfortunately, the packaging proved to be the best part of this toy for me. It had the potential to be truly amazing, but seemed to fall short on several points…. but I’ll get to all that.

Liberte is rechargeable, and an initial charge of about 2 hours prior to play was needed for my initial charge. On this it will run for up to 6 hours ,with a stand-by time of 90 days; I haven’t had to recharge mine yet, despite several 20-30 minutes sessions with it. It is supposed to glow red from the LED interface when the battery is low. During charging the interface will blink, and then stop to indicate a full charge. While this is a nice feature, I would much rather one that won’t overcharge. With this you have to keep an eye on this and be sure never to charge for more than 24 hours or risk ruining your battery. And I’m forgetful.

Made of smooth, shiny, black ABS plastic that glides easily over the skin, this toy is built for safety and comfort. While plastic may not be the best choice for sharing unless a condom is used, it is hypo-allergenic, phthalates-free and body-safe.

The design of this toy is sleek and functional. It actually reminds me quite a bit of an elongated Lelo Nea. The entire toy is 4” long, and only ¾ of an inch diameter near the clit stimulator, and has a bulbous 1” diameter base that is easy to hold and contours to the pubic curve. In laymen’s terms… it is really like a finger extending to give pin-point stimulation to the clit.

So where this should be a great toy, it really fails in performance. First off, I hate that the controls are located on the bottom of the base of the toy. Yes, the part that is against your pubic bone during use. So if you want to change speeds or patterns you have to stop and lift it up to do so.

Second fail concerning the controls? It took me about 3 minutes to shut it off the first time, and I continue to struggle every time. It should be simple. It has only an (+) increase/advance through patterns control, and a (-) decrease/reverse though patterns button that double as the on and off to power the unit. It supposedly works the way every other vibe works; just hold the decrease down for 2 seconds and it should shut-off… only it doesn’t. And I have no idea why.

To be fair, there is one redeeming feature. The controls can be locked for transport by pressing both the up and down buttons at the same time and holding for 5 seconds. The interface will then go dark to indicate it is locked. To unlock, you just repeat the procedure until the interface comes back on.

But the biggest fail of this toy is the complete lack of power. Not only are the vibrations surfacy and buzzy, they travel up the “shaft” and buzzed the crap out of my hand when I tried to use it. It’s also louder than I expected, and sounds almost as though something is rattling against the plastic and is somewhat distracting in play.

There are 7 vibration patterns and all of them are quite good. Basically it sports three distinct speeds that feel almost like a flutter as opposed to a constant speed, and then four pulse patterns that range from high and low pulses to escalation. I really do enjoy all the different patterns, but like I said, they all need more power. Lots more power. For the money, there are a lot of better options out there.

Liberte is compatible with all lube types, even silicone. Clean-up is easy with toy cleaner or warm water and soap, just be sure not to get water up into the control panel. To increase the life of Liberte’s battery, try not to let the battery die completely and recharge after every couple uses, or 6 weeks of stand-by time. Keep stored in the pouch that is included.

Thank you Edenfantasys for sending me the Extase Liberte to review, available now for only $64.49!

Review of Blossom Organic's Pure Pleasure Arousal Gel : Come On Baby Light My Fire!

Pure Pleasure Arousal Gel By Blossom Organics

Size : 0.75 oz

Use : Increase arousal & Stimulate genitals

Love It Rating : Hot! Hot! Hot! (My Highest)

You guys already know I am a huge fan of Blossom Organics products, so when I got the chance to review their Pure Pleasure Arousal Gel I jumped at the chance. I had only one concern- as someone who doesn’t generally have any trouble getting aroused, what am I going to use this for? Well, let me tell you- even if you don’t have any trouble with getting aroused- this will light your fire!

The first time I used was while trying to review a toy I wasn’t that excited about. And at a time of the day when the kids were asleep, which was not coincidentally, the time I would rather be asleep. I’ve never used an arousal cream before and wasn’t sure at all what to expect or how it was supposed to work.

So, as per the directions, I applied several drops of the clear amber liquid onto my fingers and rubbed it over my clitoris. Nothing. And that lasted for, oh…. about 20 seconds. Then, holy smokes!- My crotch lit up like the fourth of July! I have used warming sensation lubes before. I’ve even used Blossom Organics Warming Sensation Lube before, but nothing that has been nearly this potent and long-lasting.

I swear, I could actually feel my clit start to engorge. And that, combined with the warm tingling sensation had me ready to go in less than a minute. Literally, it was the proverbial 0-60. And again, unlike other potions I’ve tried, I was still feeling the effects 20 minutes later as I was nearing orgasm (I might have cum quicker but the toy just really wasn’t that good). Now for many, 20 minutes might seem like a long time, but since it usually takes me 30-45 minutes, this shaved a considerable amount of time off my norm.

And I’m afraid to say this, but I think I might be starting to get a bit addicted to the stuff. Even when I am totally horny I want to pull this out and use it because it really enhances every sensation over my clit and helps me orgasm faster. I really love it.

So, that aside, lets talk details. First, if you don’t even like the regular warming lotions, you probably don’t even want to try this. It is incredibly strong and will probably be too powerful for you. And if you do like warming lotions, you must try this.

Second, while this is organic and won’t cause you harm if tasted, it is terribly bitter and not at all suitable for oral sex. Just don’t. Also, this is not a lube in any way. The “gel” is a thin, watery liquid that immediately soaks into the skin (but feel free to use in conjunction with your favorite lube to keep things slick). And that is my only complaint about this product, as I find it runs easily off my fingers before I can even get them to my clit during sex.

So what makes this work? Well, namely the peppermint that you can smell during use is the cause of the warming/cooling sensation (may be perceived either way, but in this product it is far more likely that it will feel warm), and the Niacin that increases blood-flow will also cause a warming sensation.

But there are others at work here too. And as afore mentioned, Blossom Organics does pride itself on using purely organic and body-safe ingredients which are always listed on the side of the box. I will break them down for you as provided directly from Blossom Organics website

Organic aloe barbadensis leaf extract- The nutrient-rich gel of the aloe leaf which hydrates, soothes, comforts and heals the skin while creating glide.
Glycerin- Sweetens the taste
Hydroxyethylcellulose- Plant derived thickener. Binds ingredients together while creating slip and glide.
Sorbitol- A sugar alcohol used as a humectant, to provide slip, glide and sweet flavor.
Arginine - Amino acid that has antioxidant properties and can be helpful for wound healing. Used as a humectant to bind moisture to the skin.
Niacin - Also known as vitamin B3. Stimulates microcirculation to create a warm or tingling sensation while nourishing and stimulating nerve endings.
Organic plant oils of rosa canina (rose hip)- Essential fatty acid which will nourish and lubricate the skin.
Oenothera biennis (evening primrose)- Essential fatty acid which will nourish and lubricate the skin.
Ethylhexylglycerin- A preservative derived from vegetable oil. Used to protect formulas from contamination from bacteria, mold, yeast, etc.
Organic mentha piperita (peppermint) essential oil- Essential plant oil that acts as a natural preservative and imparts a cooling and tingling sensation.
Organic extracts of paeonia albiflora (peony) root- sensual botanical
Passiflora incarnata flower- sensual botanical

So, a body-safe product that increases arousal and makes orgasming easier…. sounds like a winner to me! I do recommend this product and I know that I will be replacing it when I run out.

Thank you so much to Babeland for sending me Blossom Organics Pure Pleasure Gel to review. Try it now for only $18.

Review of the Waterproof Clitoral Hummer by California Exotics

Waterproof Clitoral Hummer By California Exotics

Noise :

Power :

Love It Rating :

Ah, nothing better than receiving brand new sex toys in the mail from Vibrator.com! In my package this week was the Waterproof Clitoral Hummer by California Exotics. On first inspection it looked boringly familiar to other dial vibrators I have tried in the past that never seem to do much for me. Of course the package boasts that this toy is multi-speed, waterproof, ergonomic, advanced, unique, scooped for optimal stimulation, has a g-spot tip, and- oh, yeah- has intense gyrating action. So lets talk about how it lived up to its many claims…

Ergonomic & advanced- The Clitoral Hummer is made of pearl-white ABS plastic that is hard and smooth. The entire toy is 7 ¼” long, 6 ¼” of which are potentially insertable. Over its widest point on the head, it reaches up to 1 ¼” in diameter. The vibrator is completely straight with two slightly bulbous swellings in the shaft, and topped with a head that looks like a cross between a ghost and dolphin head. On both counts I’m a bit confused. When I think of an ergonomic toy, I think of something that is curved so I don’t have to bend my wrist, or something that does the reaching for me. I guess the shaft is comfortable to hold in my hand, but not any more so than any other shaft. And advanced? It’s plastic, not gold or silicone.

G-spot tip & scooped for optimal clit stim- One side of the head sports a scooped-out oblong-oval that will easily rest over the clit. This area is about 7/8 of an inch wide and 1 ½” tall and should accommodate most clits pretty easily. Honestly, I think I would have enjoyed it more if the scoop had been a little deeper, as it tended to feel as though the vibrations were too diffused.

The g-spot tip is opposite the scoop and looks very much like the nose of a dolphin. The vibrations are a bit more direct here, and I actually preferred this side on my clit over the scoop. On inserting this toy, I was somewhat concerned that the small little tip might actually poke a hole in my insides. Well, needless to say it didn’t. And I’m surprised, no shocked, to say that this may have been some of the most intense g-spot pressure I have ever experienced. Although some may just find it too uncomfortable to enjoy this way, it rocked my world.

Waterproof & multi-speed- The base of the toy twists off to insert the 2 AA batteries. The cap holds very tightly and the base sports a rubber O-ring. I have had this in the tub with no issues, other than the vibrations seem too loud and diffused. But this is great for cleaning or use in the shower.

The outside of the base features a dial-style controller that allows the user to customize the vibration speed and turn the toy off quickly in an emergency. I do wish, however, that the dial was a bit firmer to turn as I often found myself accidentally turning the toy down when I would move my hand or change position.

Intense gyrating action- Yeah, I’ve heard that claim before. Except this time it’s the real deal. You can really see what they mean by this on the lower speeds where it literally swings back and forth in deep, penetrating vibrations. So this is what they mean by advanced! I was seriously impressed.

As far as clitoral stimulators go, this is pretty good. It would definitely be more than enough power for most users. But what it’s really great at is g-spotting! I can’t explain it, but somehow the small little nub and those deep, swinging vibrations make me feel something more intense and focused over my g-spot that I have felt with toys that cost 10x the price of this one.

The only drawback of the vibrations is that they carry all the way to the hand, and at times feel almost stronger in the hand than over the clit. Of course this could also be just because my hand is distracting me from the my clit, but either way, it sucks.

A second, and most worrisome concern, is that the motor gets very warm after only 5 or so minutes of use. And it takes me usually close to 20-30 minutes to get off. Now honestly, I enjoy the heat and temperature play. If it were designed as a heating element that would be great, but as is, I’m concerned that this might shorten the life of the motor.

So, in my experience, this toy did live up to most of its claims and then some. It’s not perfect, and I think it would be far more enjoyable if they could harness the vibrations a bit more to be concentrated in the tip instead of traveling up the shaft and to your hand, but at only $17 from Vibrator.com it is well worth the investment.

This is a brief video demonstrating how the gyrating action works. (No Nudity)

Review of Sasha Grey's Billy Glass Wand: Looks So Wrong, But Feels So Right!

Sasha Grey’s Billy Glass Wand by Doc Johnson
Material : Glass
Color : Black
Special Features : Extreme texture - Large nubs
                                              Love It Rating ;

USE

As somewhat of a non-traditional dildo, this wand will find a home for many different types of stimulation. The straight, though slightly tapered design, is ideal for thrusting. And surprisingly, the raised nubs provide enough stimulation to stroke the g-spot without having to angle the toy. The shaft, when the nubs are rubbed against the vulva, feels a bit like constant flicking over the clit, and is an unexpected use for this toy.

While it lacks the flared-base that would normally recommend a dildo for anal use, the long handle on this one should prevent one from accidentally losing this inside. It is also due to this handle that Sasha Grey’s Billy Glass Wand is ideal for couple’s use. However, caution is advised as the texture, combined with the inflexibility of glass, could cause pain or bruising of the cervix.

MATERIAL / TEXTURE

Sasha Grey’s Billy Glass Wand is made of Pyrex glass, which is a brand name of borosilicate glass. Borosilicate glass is resistant to breaking and is shatter-free, meaning it breaks into large pieces rather than splintering. Glass retains outward temperatures very well. And because it can withstand both hot and cold temperature changes, it is ideal for temperature play. For safety, use only warm or cold water to create the appropriate temperature, and always test on the wrist before play.

This glass is a food-grade material, and is considered a superior material for toys as it is non-porous, phthalates-free, hypo-allergenic and body-safe. There is no smell or taste, nor does this toy retain odors. The glass is shiny black and completely smooth, with not so much as a seam to mar its luxurious appearance. Little to no lube is needed for play, as the wand is very slick and does not “soak up” lubrication the way other materials can.

In a straight line, on either side of the wand, are five large, mountain-shaped nubs. The nubs are substantial, but smooth enough to be comfortable. However, this toy may not be suitable for users who do not like extreme texture, and is more appropriate for advanced users.

DESIGN / SHAPE / SIZE

While not at all extreme in size at only 5 ¾” long, and 1 ½” in diameter (that tapers down to 1”), the combination of the inflexible glass and mountainous nubs do cause this wand to feel much larger in size than it actually is. The handle adds an additional 4 ½” inches, which brings the total of the entire wand to 10 ½”. Depending on how you use it, this can either hamper or enhance your experience. The handle can tend to get in the way a bit when used for solo while lying on your back. However, it makes it much easier for use on your hands and knees, or in a standing position. And it is especially enticing to let your partner use it on you, as the handle allows for easier use and more control.

The design is rather clever in that it is easy to hold, simplistic and stylish, yet highly functional. The round ring on the handle can serve as a hanger for this toy; it is interesting enough to display as artwork on the wall. And this may be a good storage solution, as it is a bit large for tucking away anywhere very discreetly in terms of size. In appearance it is semi-discreet. If left laying about an adult would probably realize what it is, but a snooping child probably would not.

PERFORMANCE

The straight shaft initially makes the toy appear as primarily a thrusting tool, but the combination of the of the taper and the nubs make this a surprisingly good g-spotting tool as well. The heavier weight, at 11.2 oz, can make this somewhat cumbersome to hold. But it does have a nice balance and adds to the sensations internally, again making this toy feel larger than it actually is.

The toy does feel very unique when inserted fully and then twirled, as the nubs feel like they are giving an internal massage. It is possible when doing this to massage the g-spot, ps-spot and a-spot all at the same time! However, if you need firm/direct pressure to any of these areas, this may not provide enough stimulation.

When thrusting, either vigorously or lightly, it is impossible not to feel each one of the nubs all the way from your entrance to as deep as you insert them. They are not something you just kinda feel; they are very noticeable. In this aspect, this toy may not work well for everyone.

This wand does hold temperatures very well and is a great asset to anyone seeking temperature play. While it may take a few moments of the wand being left in the hot or cold water to change from room temperature, it retains the desired temperature very well. It feels amazing to use this in a hot bath after it has been chilled. Or use heated on a cold night.

CARE AND MAINTANCE
One of the best things about glass toys are that they are compatible with all your favorite types of lube, including oil, water, and silicone-based. They can be easily cleaned with warm water and soap. And if sharing with a partner or using in multiple orifices, glass toys can even be sterilized by boiling for 3 minutes or soaked in a 10% bleach solution.

Before use always carefully inspect your toy for cracks or chips, and never use a toy that displays these imperfections. To help prevent possible chips, consider buying a padded toy pouch to store your wand in.

PACKAGING
The Sasha Grey Billy Glass Wand arrived in a simple, but sexy package. While not discreet, it is both erotic and classy. The box is matte black with a shiny embossed outline of the toy itself and the word glass on the front, along with Sasha Grey’s name and “Billy” at the top. The sides sport sexy photos of Sasha in low contrast black and white, and the back features some product highlights and company information. There were no directions on the box or inside.

Inside, the glass wand is held protectively in layered foam that is glued together and cut to fit the wand perfectly. The top layer of the foam is left uncut and serves as a lid to the makeshift foam box. The foam does a great job of protecting the wand from possible damage and is suitable for storing the wand in. However, the foam may start to deteriorate over time, and a toy pouch should still be considered for long-term storage.

PERSONAL COMMENTS
I wasn’t sure what to expect with this toy and was immediately intimidated by it. I have never owned a toy before that had this much texture to it and I wasn’t sure I would be able to handle it. Not to mention that it looks somewhat like a BDSM torture device. Or something you might use to fend off a potential burglar... and I still think it might excel on that front!

But I have to admit that I was wrong. Yes, the nubs are very large and somewhat extreme. If they had been completely covering this toy instead of just on either side of the shaft it would probably be too much. But I found that they were smooth enough, and well-placed enough, that it really helped me to focus on how each inch of the shaft was able to stimulate me inside. Usually I tend to focus on just my g-spot… or just my a-spot… or just the feeling of deep thrusting that I don’t notice every erogenous zone at one time. This toy has changed that for me. It may not the best stimulation to my g-spot or ps-spot, etc. compared to other toys I own, but it allows me to feel each one at the same time.

I must compare this to a Christmas present from someone who knows you very well. It was something that I never would have chosen for myself, but that I ended up liking very much. I can’t say that this is the right toy for everyone, but for those seeking something unique and that enjoy feeling every inch of their toys… you might want to give this one a try.

Review of the Blush Blindfold by Sportsheets

USE
The Blush Blindfold by Sportsheets is perfect for sensory deprivation, light bondage, or just to spice things up by trying something new. The elastic strap will fit most, and the sizing of the mask is pretty universal. However, due to the large amount of pink that this mask is made from, not all men will enjoy wearing it. And while it is very comfortable for the duration of most playtime (an hour give or take), it may be too hot and/or thick for sleeping in.

DESIGN / CRAFTSMANSHIP / MATERIAL / SIZE / FIT
The front of the mask is medium-pink faux-leather, with a black elastic band, and black stitching. The stitching also goes completely around the mask, and adds not only to the durability, but also to the overall look. Unfortunately, the stitching on my mask was not completely even, which may be somewhat distracting if you are the type to notice these types of things.

The elastic is attached on the inside of the mask with tight zigzag stitching that holds the elastic firmly in place. However, it may irritate sensitive skin, as the elastic is not placed in between the two types of material.

The faux-leather is soft, matte, and is textured just enough to resemble real leather. Not quite pliable enough to feel authentic; it feels somewhat like a soft plastic. The reverse side (the side that goes against your face) is a velvety-soft fleece type material in black. It feels very different from the front of the mask and makes it soft and comfortable to wear.

Because it is faux-leather, it is not made from animals. It is actually synthetic fibers derived from the polyurethane group. It has no discernible smell, and is phthalates-free and body-safe. Another advantage of the faux-leather is that is adds durability to the mask, making it resistant to water and decreases risk of tearing. With proper care, this mask will last for many, many years.

The Blush mask will be suitable in size for most users. The elastic (combined with the mask itself) is 20 ¾” unstretched, but will fit up to 30 ¾” if fully stretched. The mask itself measures 8 ¾“ long and is 3 ½” wide around the eye and gently tapers towards the sides. Because the material is a bit more on the sturdy side, it forms well to the face and is less prone to gapping than softer materials.

PERFORMANCE
For its intended purpose, the mask works great. The combination of materials creates a complete black-out condition. Not even a bit of light can shine through. The elastic sits naturally above the ears and the mask stays put pretty well, even over long hair.

The mask fits comfortably, but not too tightly. For those seeking a mask that can be tightened extra snug for s/m, this won’t fit your needs. While the mask didn’t actually seem be so heavy as to cause sweating, the material doesn’t breath at all, and if it is hot, it will trap in heat and moisture. For this reason, it is not suitable as a mask for sleeping in.

CARE AND MAINTANCE
The front of the mask is water-resistant and is usually able to be wiped clean easily with a dry cloth. The best way to wash your blindfold is by hand-washing with a cloth and cold/warm water and mild (detergent-free) soap for larger messes. Hang and allow to line dry; never place in a dryer or use heat to dry.

PACKAGING
The packaging that the Blush Blindfold arrived in was simple and tasteful. The mask came attached to a cardboard backing that keeps the mask from being folded or twisted during shipping. The front of the package features the product name is playful pink while the background color scheme fades from black to deep pink… sans a naked person or suggestive word to be seen. There were no instructions included on the package at all. So, while it is tasteful, it is still not discreet. Nor could it be reused, although you can be eco-conscious and recycle with other paper products.

PERSONAL NOTES
This is the second blindfold I have reviewed from Sportsheets (Soft Blindfold
), they both look similiar in color and design, but this one is much higher in quality. This one I will recommend if you are looking for something that is simple and effective to add a bit of the erotic to any encounter. But its not just for beginners, the quality and effectiveness would prove it also useful for bondage experts. Well.. that, and that it comes with a whole line of matching accessories, such as a collar, leash, cuffs, and strap-on harness (just to mention a few!).

Thank you Edenfantasys for sending me the Blush Blindfold to try!

Review of the Crystal High-Intensity Mini Bullet by California Exotics

Who doesn’t love bullets? Right, no one. And who doesn’t love watch batteries? Wait… what? You don’t love the higher price and decreased power and length of play that watch batteries afford you? Right. Me either. So honestly, it is beyond my why companies make these cute little vibrators that have so much potential and then stick watch batteries in them. Arrggg!

I always try to start with an open-mind about new toys, and this one has a lot going for it. First, it is a standard size bullet that will fit toys with cavities for bullets, or even fit cock-rings with clit stimulators. And the design is amazingly feminine. It is deep purply-pink with bright white rhinestones adorning the top of the base. Although the toy is made of ABS plastic, it is very shiny and metallic in appearance and resembles a metal toy. It is perfectly smooth, without even a seam to mar its luxurious appearance. I loved it on sight.

So I open reusable clear-plastic clamshell that Crystal comes in, noticing that the package also houses 3 of the LR44 watch batteries it takes to run this toy. I remove the bullet from its pocket, but don’t find any instructions. The cardboard backing that comes with the package addresses some of the product high-lights, but no instructions either. Oh well, I may not be a genius, but surely I can figure out how to use this anyway.

I twist off the cap and notice that pre-inserted are 3 watch batteries, held away from the cap by a small plastic piece that needs to be removed before using. Great, now I know I have replacement batteries. So I push the soft button on the bottom of the bullet and power the bullet on. It feels extremely weak and I am wondering if the batteries are already half-dead? So I open it back up and notice that there is a piece of paper coiled around the batteries. Ah ha, there is the instruction manual! So, I carefully remove the batteries and pull out the paper, only to read “Do not remove”. Really? Is this some sort of joke? The words were, of course, not visible when I am pulling them out.

But alas, I shrug and put the batteries back in, sans the paper and its cryptic warning. I turn the bullet on again, to the same dull vibrations that make me wonder why the call this Crystal High-Intensity Bullet? I hit the button again trying to increase the power, but it only shuts the bullet off. I mean, I haven’t even used it yet and already I am frustrated.

So I look back at the package and notice it does say “incremental speed control”. What the hell? Then I notice that it does say on the back to hold the button down to increase the speed, and push to power off. So, feeling a bit like an idiot, I finally have this thing buzzing away at top speed.

To me, the vibrations are just “okay”. The low level vibrations are the deeper, thrumming type that I most enjoy, but are so weak that I can hardly get a tease out of them. And as I increase the speed, the intensity kicks up, but so does the buzzy, surface feeling. I know many people who really enjoy this type of vibration. And because it is able to be very pin-point, it can deliver a lot of power to the clit, but it will not work for everyone. And does not work for me at all. It just makes me feel itchy.

There are several good features about this toy. When the toy is on, the button stays lit red. And it can be shut-off quickly with just one push. I like that, rather than pre-set speeds, you adjust it by holding the button, allowing you to customize your experience. The material it is made of is plastic, which is hypo-allergenic and body-safe. It is compatible with silicone and water-based lubes, and is completely waterproof, for fun in the shower or tub, and makes for easy cleaning with toy cleaner or soap and water. And of course, I did mention that it is very cute.

But even with those features, the buzzy vibrations and nasty watch batteries are going to be too much of a draw-back for many, myself included. I always use my vibes at top speed, and was able to get one 30 minute session out of a pair. You might get more if you use at a lower speed, and/or for less time and remember to remove the batteries afterwards, but even so, the are very expensive to replace and will need to be replaced frequently.

Thank you California Exotics for sending me the Crystal Mini Bullet to try. Buy one to try for yourself at EdenFantasys for $18.99.

Review of the Easy Breezy Kit by Goodvibes

The Easy Breezy Kit from GoodVibes contains some of my favorite products. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy the scents of them as much as I have others in the "Me" line. The included vibe is very beginner friendly, but wasn't quite enough to knock my socks off. So this ended up being somewhat of a wash for me. I didn't hate any of the products, I just didn't love them either. But for those who are more attracted to simple vibes and floral scents, this kit might be the jackpot.

Please Cream Lubricant

Use:

Water-based cream lube

Scent:

scentless

Ingredients:
Deionized Water, Propylene Glycol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Ceteareth-20, Isopropyl Palmitate, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG/PPG-18/18 Dimethicone, Cellulose Gum, Polysorbate-60, Immidazolidinyl Urea, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Lactic Acid, Disodium EDTA

Love It Rating:

I didn’t expect to like this quite as much as I did. I already have the regular Please Me lube and, while it was okay, it didn’t blow me away. But this one I have to admit, is pretty good. And for those of you who like to use the “squirting” dildo’s…. this stuff looks so much like cum its almost scary. It also has the same consistency.

So anyway, it doesn’t have any smell or taste, and is water-based, so you can use it with any toy you want. It is slightly thicker than regular lube, but yet its still liquidy (Liquidy? Oh well.). It lasts decently for clit stimulation, although I do have to reapply once or twice during a 30 minute session… but I also find that I use a smaller amount than I do with other products. I like that I feel moisturized, yet not sticky afterwards, and the formula is non-staining. But for all that…. I still like my Blossom Organics lube better. But like I said, if you are looking for an ejaculate substitute… you can’t beat this!!

Easy Glider by Cal Exotics

I’m a bit conflicted about this vibe. So I’ll just sum it and then give you the facts. This one didn’t really do it for me. If it were a sucky product, I’d just say it, but that isn’t the case. I feel like I have just grown beyond this one a bit to enjoy it as much as someone who doesn’t have a million toys to choose from might. It would make a great beginner toy, or just a staple for those who like to keep only a couple simple ones around. But for those looking for something unique or luxurious, this isn’t it.

Anywayzzz. The Easy Glider is made of body-safe, smooth, clear, hard plastic. It measures out at 7.25” long, 6.25” of which are insertable and is designed to stimulate with its three graduated balls that only get as big as 1 1/3” diameter. They really feel quite nice inside, stimulated the opening with each stroke, and possibly even the g-spot of those whose are not deeply hooked. I wasn’t able to hit mine, but I need a really curved toy, and this one is straight. .

The vibrations are controlled via a turn-dial at the base of the toy and are pretty strong for this type of toy, albeit a bit on the buzzy side for my taste. The vibrations feel the strongest over the first small ball, and a bit weaker over the middle and last one, and almost unnoticeable on the straight part of the shaft. I did enjoy putting the tip of the toy on my nipples and clit more than using it internally, I found the vibrations didn’t feel right inside and the size and shape just didn’t stimulate me the way I prefer

I do like that this toy is completely waterproof, and surprisingly, that it is see though. Normally that would turn me off, but seeing how the motor was working was pretty neat. And when you get this in the kit like I did, Goodvibes is nice enough to send along the 2 AA batteries that are required to power the toy. I find that they will last through several 20-30 minutes sessions without dying.

So like I said, I know this is a favorite toy for many, and I know lots of you will love it too with all those great features…. But it’s just not for me.

Rub Me Massage Bar

Use:

Massage oil in solid bar

Scent:

Amber Rose

Ingredients:

Cocoa butter, shea butter, fragrance oil

This is the second of 7 scents of Rub Me bars I have tried. It has all the great properties that I remembered, but I didn’t like the Amber Rose scent as much as the Pomegranate Mint. Don’t get me wrong, it smells great, but its also very different. I also find that the smell is not as strong as the other one. When rubbed in, you can smell it directly on the skin, but it doesn’t create a cloud of scent in the entire immediate area. I’m sure for many people, this would be a plus, but I associate scents with emotions so I wouldn’t mind if it was stronger. I wish I knew what to compare this to…. It kinda reminds me of a soft mixture of rose and honeysuckle, and is feminine and floral..

But what I really do love about this is how well it works. Like all the other Rub Me bars, it is basically a massage oil, solidified in to one mess-free bar. As you rub the bar across warm skin, the oil gently melts a bit, leaving oil on the skin. I really love using the product for giving my husband long back massages (and getting them!) as it stays on the skin and doesn’t rub in too fast. I find that I can use on application without it soaking in for 30-45 minutes without reapplying. And while it doesn’t stain, it does need to be washed off as it does leave an oily residue.

Ignite Me Massage Candle

Use:

Candle that melts into massage oil

Scent:

English Lavender

Ingredients:

Soy wax, Soybean oil, Coconut oil, Shea Butter, Essential oil

I’m going to end up sounding like a broken record here, but this is the second of 5 scents I have tried (I’m on a mission to try one of everything in the “Me” line), but I don’t like it quite as much as I did the Pomegranate Mint. The scent of the English Lavender is much more subtle in terms of strength, and almost woodsy, though I don’t know where that would come from? I tend to think of Lavender as a very soft scent, but…. Well… like I said, there is something that is more powerful and almost masculine about this one. But to elaborate, so I don’t sound like I am completely contradicting myself, when lit, the smell of this candle doesn’t waft through the whole room like the other one did, so I still consider it milder in terms of smell, even though the scent itself is strong. My husband likes this one though, “since he doesn’t end up smelling like a girl.”

As far as quality goes, this candle is every bit as great as the other one. Make sure you light the candle at least 15 minutes before you are ready to use it. I mean… it doesn’t melt immediately! For me, I do this while hubby is in the shower to help set the mood, and by the time he gets out, its ready to go. With this, unless your partner really wants the oil to be burning hot, hold the candle at least 6 inches above the area you want to rub the oil into, or better yet, into your hand which has tougher skin. This doesn’t feel greasy to me, but its does feel a bit waxy. Its non-staining and lasts pretty decently; I only have to reapply once or twice (small amounts) for a 30-45 minute session. When finished, make sure the wick is out of the liquid and trim only when solid.
Thank you Goodvibes for sending me the Easy Breezy Kit to review!
